Hi...
My name is Li, born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. I'm 28, optimistic about life, tired of the world, and the supposed breadwinner of my family. I am single and I am not looking for love. No, instead, I am looking for someone whom I can share my thoughts and possibly my emotions without restrictions, in comfort, and about anything and everything.
I have some really great friends, but as we grow older, we all have our own responsibilities and our woes. I am no different. However, with that said, I am looking for someone younger who might not have as many issues and as much experience, but still mature, better defined mentality, and being a perceptive person would be really great.
I am open to male and female friendships, penpals, and such, but I prefer a female counterpart. Reason: a different perspective through gender bias, a possibly softer side of the same subject - maybe even harder side, a spiritual alignment between my semi-traditional male ideals and a semi-traditional female ideal...
It's hard to explain what I am looking for. Someone silly, someone fun, someone who can run about and be 'weird' but turn around and be serious if need be. I prefer some who was born and/or raised in Japan but you can be of any origin - eg: a Caucasian born in Japan, or a Chinese person raised in Japan, or someone of another ethnicity that has a big Japanese culture influence.
My interests: art, life, the world, people, trends, supernaturals, wilderness, anime, discussion, spirituality (not religious), philosophy, the minds of people/children, preservation, impulsiveness, Chinese, Japanese, history, origins, futures, fictional, sci-fi, war-movies, cooking, chilling out, drinking wine and beer, mixing alcohol, picnics, walks, cycling, narrative poetry, writing, journals, diaries, bluntness, youth, old, friendship, etc, etc, etc
What I basically want right off the bat: a casual email as if we're picking up where we left off.
