Personal Info:	Hajimemashite!! O genki desu ka? Hi! I'm a 24 year old college student on the verge of graduating! I've been trying to learn Japanese for a while now and plan on moving to Japan by the end of next year. I love Japan! I love the food, the language & culture, and the people - I think Japanese guys are totemo kakko ii!! Up until now I haven't really had time to take classes so I've been using books & CDs to learn. I also download a lot of Japanese Doramas & movies and watch them in Japanese with english subtitles (it helps me get used to the spoken language). I plan on going to Japan as an english teacher (at least until I learn Japanese, then maybe I can get a different job). The company I'll work for will let me choose 4 locations and they'll send me to one of them: I think my choices would be Sapporo, Miyazaki, Osaka and Kyoto or Tokyo... I'd like to write to a Japanese guy who could teach me more about Japanese culture, popculture and everything! We could help each other with languages as we get to know each other.. I won't post a real picture online ^-^ but I'll send one after the first email, (or as soon as you ask for one). I'm medium height, slim, with cury, dark brown hair that falls below my shoulders. My eyes are dark brown and I have a couple of (barely visible) piercings and tattoos... The last thing that I'd like to mention is that because I am in my last semester of college, I'm really busy and won't be able to write that often, so if you want someone who will write to you every two days, I'm not the right penpal. I could write maybe every week, sometimes if I get really busy it would be every two weeks, but you can be sure that I will always make the effort to write back as soon as possible! Well, I guess that's it! I look forward to hearing from you! XD

That's cause you don't know them well yet... LOL! (it's an oversimplification, but you're in for a learning curve. hohoho).

Take Osaka, it's the funnest, and if you learn your Japanese there then you'll be the coolest kid on the block for sure! Osakaben mecha mecha kakoii-ze~ Then you can get part time jobs in Yakuza flicks too Wink

Oh boy, good luck with the Onsen/sportsclubs with those...

Hehe, I guess I'm teasing, I get a bit of a laugh over Japanaphile posts. I've been here 11 years, and don't get me wrong, I love the place, but for _totally_ different reasons then what I thought it would be like when I first decided to come over here. Just don't set expectations that "it is gonna be this way," cause it's totally NOT gonna be that way, but enjoy it for what it is... a totally different ride.

Good luck -- caring, patient, open, understanding Japanese guys _do_ exist... I've never really ever seen one... but I have _heard_ that they exist, so good hunting. :D
