My name is Jim from England (lotsnotes(at)hotmail.com). I am looking for a long term relationship leading to marriage with the right person. I'm working now as a daytrader and in the past I've been a computer programmer for 4 years and a geologist for 5 years. I like excercise, travelling, learning languages, cooking, beer & wine, cycling, yoga, reading, learning new things, current affairs and politics. I like rock such as Chillis, U2 etc, RnB, Hip-Hop, Dance, Classical & Jazz. I think being friends with your partner is very important and would like to be able to confide everything in her. What could be better than spending the rest of your life with your best friend? I think my good qualities are intelligence, open-mindedness, good humour, easygoing, adaptable, acceptance of others and willing to put myself out to help them. Adaptability is a good quality to have in these days of job insecurity. My worst quality is perhaps a low boredom threshold. I'm a very well-travelled person having worked so far in Indonesia, Australia, USA, Czech Republic and England of course. I've holidayed in quite a few other countries too. Favourite thing to do is spend some quality time with someone I like, perhaps by the sea or in the country, chatting at a pub, going to see a new foreign movie, a photography exhibition, a cycling trip, city break to Europe or just stay at home cooking and reading. I am not interested in religion at all.
I am 1.85m, 77kg, non-smoker, brown hair, blue eyes, like to dress well. I'm told I'm better looking in person than my photo, but take a look anyway! I like to go to the gym regularly and also do swimming and yoga. I would also do cycling too if my bike hadn't been stolen! I was a member of a weekend cycling club in London before.
I hope you are very open minded, talkative and probably a bit left-wing, or not interested in politics. As I am slim and fit, I'd like to meet someone who also looks after themselves. Hopefully someone who is interested in, but not obsessed by looking fashionable. Below is a link to my photo:
