Nice idea. But for which level are the comics intended? I have some doubts about the usability.

BTW, you should review the HTML code of your homepage. In Linux Firefox 1.0.7 the text runs over the links.

    Maybe this can help you?

Again, nice work. I'll let my students who are around that level have a look at it. Thanks for sharing it with us !!

Meh, a bit kiddy--even for kids...

...I liked the "verbosity" joke though.

    Hi Bossel

I didn't really make them with a level in mind, but I suppose I'd use them with pre-intermediate upwards. I deliberately put some trickier vocabulary into the strips to challenge students - I think that's ok with comics, since the overall context of the stories can be helped along by the pictures.

Judging by feedback I've received so far, some teachers around the world have used the comics successfully in the classroom ... and some students who've found the site themselves have enjoyed reading them.

Reiku - sorry it's a bit childish for you. I was going for tongue-in-cheek, like the 1960s Batman TV series. After all - a superhero who fights bad grammar? It's not like you can take something like that seriously, right? I felt that the only way to do it would be to make it light-hearted and silly.

Thanks all for your feedback - and thanks for the heads up on the html code problem ... I'll look into that.

    Brian
