    English Idioms & Japanese Culture

    国際交流パーティー - Tokyo International Party

    はじめまして

    私はイギリスで言語学を勉強しています. 私は小さな英語の慣用句の調査を行うために日本の成人 (年齢16歳以上)が必要です. アンケート:http://www.smart-survey.co.uk/v.asp?i=53221ilgxq .

    よろしくお願いいたします

It would be great to have your opinion on my survey, which is part of my University thesis. I am studying Linguistics. My thesis asks the question: does Japanese culture, or attitude, make you choose a particular type of idiom? I want to write about your opinions.

Also, I wish to help you with English, and improve my knowledge of Japanese (I worked in Japan for nearly 2 years).

    Regards - Fridayman

My favourite quote is “Even a fool, if he remains silent, is considered wise” (Proverbs 17:28). Can you paraphrase this? Paraphrasing is a good way to practice grammar (sentence construction).
