Found this gem by chance today: the Kyu-Yasuda Teien Gardens; formerly a daimyo residence, then taken over by the Yasuda family, now a public garden, located in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, just north of the Sumo Kokugikan and the Edo-Tokyo Museum.
