    Japan view on Human Cloning...

    国際交流パーティー - Tokyo International Party

Hmm, recently, we had debates in my class about Human cloning, and it seems a lot of people are against it.(actually, everyone I asked so far are against it...)
But then, when I think about it, it seems what influences them is religion. so, I wonder, what is the buddhist view (Or japan's view) on human cloning?

And...Is it true, that in Buddism that homosexuality is allowed?

    Thank You. ^_^

    Yay, homosexuality! ...

Well I'm not a very religious person; though, I do believe in love, morality, possibility of an after-"life"/higherpower, etc. But I guess I'm really just agnostic...Anyway, I don't see any real benefits (or enough benefits) in the research of genetic cloning to spend time, money, and religious debates on it. I'm definately pro-stem cell research.

Regarding homosexuality, I'm not sure, but I don't think Japan is very open to it. I'm sure in comparison to the U.S. they'd look like the Roman Empire -with all those crazy orgies. Heh. -but it's not like you can wear your sexuality on your sleeve and not expect to turn some heads.

I dunno'. Correct me if I'm wrong.
