Red face Looking for a Japanese Speaking Manga/Anime Fan to Work With

    国際交流パーティー - Tokyo International Party

I am a co-creator of Panel Bound [http://www.panelbound.com], a website that features interviews and reviews of manga and comics. I am in charge of writing all things manga related, and due to an unfortunate language barrier, I am often unable to send interview requests and conduct interviews.

I am looking for somebody who would be willing to work as a translator for me. The work would include translating things I want to say (from English to Japanese) and then things they have responded to (Japanese to English).

Unfortunately I cannot pay you. I know that will be a deterrent. It would be a wonderful experience for a student who is looking to improve their language skills, or somebody who is just a kind hearted comic/manga lover. This is something that would be a wonderful resume booster!

Tell me a little bit about yourself in the email, your favorite manga, artists, writers, how long you have been speaking the language, and anything else relevant.

We will be working closely together, so please feel free ask me any questions about Panel Bound or myself as well.

    Thank you!!

Someday one of these manga/anime fan sites is going to come here offering to pay for translation services and I'll have a heart attack.

I'm sorry I cannot pay. I know that there is much more work that goes into it than one would think. I just really do not have the funds to pay anybody.

Everybody who does translation work deserves to get paid in some way.

    Again, I apologize.

That made my day, Mike, lol.

Also, requests such as this go to the Classifieds section, not the forum. Thanks.

Aww... for a moment, I thought I'd have some income...
Comics are supposed to be exaggerated and is a form of entertainment. You are welcome to disagree but flaming are automatically ignored. Cheers~ www.facebook.com/evacomics
