Hello Everyone!
I was just wondering how is the hunting in Japan I heard theres a bounty on crows like 4.75 a peice? Also there are quite a few big game animals there Sika Deer, Wild boars Bear Both Black and Brown and from what I hear a type of chaimous? Also I heard the wing shoot is really good with ducks and waders. Havn't heard anything about Rabbit hunting but that might be a thing to. I was wondering could a Americain go to Japan and hunt like Sika boar and bear? Like going to China Mongolia and the like with a guide or outfitter? Would anyone know anyone that could do this or Anyone hunt in Japan?

Thank for your time!

I joined a hunting club in Fukuoka in 1971. They couldn't own any real guns, not even shotguns. They imported a pump up air gun to hunt with that was a joke.
You had to pump it at least 30 times if not more. It fired litte bird shot that wouldn't kill a tiny bird at 50 feet. I really felt sorry for them, but the Japanese government allowed no firearms to the general public. I never heard of any hunting, except by agents who worked for the government. Maybe Hokaido is different?

Sounds like you can't just hop off a plane and go hunting in Japan.
