Fastest way to kill any troll is to contact a staff member. Don't respond to their anger, continue your discussion ignoring the barbarian (but report them to the mods first), and all shall get their just rewards in due time...

While I haven't been here more than half a year, I've noticed almost no trolling what-so-ever on these forums. Almost every post has a good deal of value to it in some way, even those that do pop up now and then that are just plain stupid and pointles hehe

I've been away from jref forums for about a year. I thought the junior high kiddies would all be gone by now. Looks like the place is still populated by a bunch of 13 year olds, though.

... There are some silly people on here yes. However, I've been to many forums and they posters here are the most mature I've run into by far. They might act silly, but they are sincere underneath it and it shows.

I rarely stick up for anyone on a forum, let alone forums themselves. Usually I find imature trolling *****s, and stuck up power hungery mods who thrive on the soap opera and fame of just locking a thread and then the worship of the kiss up groups. I find NONE of that here. Maybe it will happen years from now, or in was in the past, I'm not sure I wasn't here then. As for now though, it's pretty darn nice, and I hope it remains this way.

I can only handle so much maturity anyway. I'm not 13 though, I'm 23 year old man with job at a real estate company and 3 college degrees headed for a Japanese Masters (my true goal) and hopefully a college level teaching job someday.

I'm sure there are some 13 year olds on the forums, however compared to most 13 year olds on forums, I'm glad to post along with them.
