Technology developed to bring music out of flowers
TOKYO July 16 Kyodo - Telecommunications equipment maker Let's Corp. and satellite radio station Music Bird said Friday they have developed technology for making natural flowers vibrate to create musical sounds.
The system, comprising an amplifier, vase and an acrylic resin cylinder, makes flowers' petals and leaves vibrate and transmit sounds, just as the paper cones of stereo speakers vibrate, the two said.
