There may have been a thread started on this before but oh well it is always good to get new opinions. My question is how hard is it to go to college in Japan i am looking into going to Toyama University (nothing is cast in stone) but i was wondering what is school like in japan? I heard it is really strict and they get severly angry at you if you are a "class clown" so to speak. I mean i am not a class clown but i do like to joke (not to the point i dont get any work done) am i going to be in trouble? Well any opinions on this will be appreiciated.

You should contact the Uni you are interested in and see if you can apply for a scholarship or see about doing a Japanese course there. To do a normal course will cost you (school fees, accom, food) and you wont have alot of time for working (I'm not sure if you can work if studying full time), and it requires japanese skills and to be able to pass an exam to get in >_<

No harm in contacting them/looking at a website to see what you can do
