This could be good or bad. It takes us one step closer to humans not having to risk so much to protect certain people or objects. On the other hand it takes us closer to the apocalypse. Robots that could think for themsleves is not a good thing.

you seriosuly think there's gonna be a robot eqiped with an enormous vulcan and live rounds standing on every parking lot just because we live in a future with robots?
you're not allowed to stand on a parking lot with an automatic rifle, why would you be allowed to place a tin beast with it there?
because... the cops will be shot dead by criminals and then the police force will be bought out by the companies so they are allowed to test their new police robot fighting force?
