There's a Japanese comercial with Arnold Schwarzeneger in it. I don't speak Japanese yet. So I was wondering what is he selling.
In one of the commercials he's in the middle of a date when two punks come to harrass him and his woman friend. Arnold runs behind a wall pulls out a bottle while saying something like "dosh". Then he turns into a magical version of himself (while saying something like "Dijyen"). He then flies through the air (with fire works going off in the background) while saying "mui buiiiiii!". Then we see using his magical powers to spin the two punks in the air while he's lauphing and now theres a croud of people surrounding him also lauphing. At the end of the commercial he says something like "Dai Jyou Bui."
If any one knows what the product is in this advertisement, that would be great.
Thank you...

He's selling "Arinamin V" which is a drink which supposedly gives you a boost in strength or stamina. Its aimed at tired businessmen or men who need that "extra boost" while doing you know what.
I love that commercial too, but the one you saw is the sequel. You have to see the first one.

It sounds delightfully goofy. Wish I could see it. American TV and movie stars who wouldn't be caught dead doing commercials in the U.S. have been flocking to shoot then in Japan for the last two to three decades. Heck, that was what Bill Murray's character in "Lost In Translation" did!

yeah.. in the prequal you've got him as some sort of attendant at a mah-jongg game and this one guy gets very desperate and you see arnold running around the corner doing the "DOSH!"thing. You then see the same guy from before buried in mah-jongg point-markers and still having them rain over him and Arnold in the foreground laughing maniacally... best. commercial. ever.

Thanks much...
I've seen all of them. Theres another one where he's riding a bike in circles inside the bottle. And also in part two: he's inside the bottle laughing and floating on a float giving the peice sign.
Does anyone know what he's saying?

The Arnold commercials just might be worth breaking your vow of not confronting your problems with the industrial monster of Quicktime. But then again Arnold is the only one who has good commercials on that site. Most celebrities aren't willing to be cool like Arnie.
I don't care if this is a drink with nicotine and that you can get addicted to (chemically)... All I know is that Arnold makes it look good. If I'm in Japan and I find a can I'll probably give it a chance and hope that I didn't make my self a nicotine addict.
Of course, don't blame Arnold. I would tried out the product even if the commercial wasn't released.
I just happy a product came along that allowed for such a cool commercial.
yep, Ahnold is playing the djinn or Genie that comes out of the bottle to give everybody extra strength and power to survive the concrete jungles of Tokyo.... :D
then there are the other funky commercials using both Chinese acrobats and Japanese high school students.... :p

Yeh, In the California Governor Election.. I do believe that would explain his absence from cheesy commercials these days.. Heh.
Hehe...yeah, it was very entertaining to watch Arnold in a cheesy Japanese comercial!! And now I can understand Lopan999's avatar!!
I also saw some of the other celebrities' commercials on the japander-website, and must see they were all funny and cheesy.
The Sean Connery was more relaxed though, (about suntory whiskey)....
I had hoped the Connery Whiskey-commercial was more like watching Bill Murray in "lost in translation".....

To Miss Apollo: The only problem is, I don't understand my avatar.
But I'm sure it has something to do with the Austrians teaming up with Japan again. But this time their on USA's side. (actually I'm not sure about Austria).
To King of Tokyo: You always have the best avatars.
Actually, second best after MEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
