Can somebody tell me how long these guys have been around. Because Im 99% positive they did a song for the dbz Bardock OVA about Goku's dad, back in like 91. I think it was called "Solid State Scouter". But somehow they have a really young member who couldnt have possibly been in it back then, who will be the start of Godzilla's 50th anniversary movie which comes out this december. So whats going on, did the old members just retire and add some new talent under the same name, or is it the same band. Anyway the name of the member who's gonna be in Godzilla Final Wars is Masahiro Matsuoka.

The earliest I can remember is probably 96(I think?), when they did Kodomo no Omocha's OP song. They did the DBZ song. They're probably like SMAP, which changes members as they get older and 'grow out' of it. They might have one veteran member, but I have no idea. SMAP has been around forever and certainly hasn't had the same members all the time.

Doing some quick searching reveals that TOKIO's first single appears to be "Love You Only", released in 1994. But that only would represent when they were signed to a major label... perhaps they could have been active as an indie unit before that. Checking at least one member bio reveals that they seem to have birthdates in the region of 1974, which would make them around 16 years old at the time of the DBZ song... which certainly isn't inconceivable to think that they could be a group at that point. The idol type groups can be pretty young when they start.

For example, I wasn't aware of any major roster changes in SMAP... one of the members leaves the group at some point which makes them five members instead of six, but I believe all the members remain the same through the life of that group... but if you look at their first singles, they look to be around 14 years old when those were released, which would make them around 30 years old now. Again, not that unthinkable...

Other than that, I can't find much to link TOKIO specifically to that DBZ song... only that it is possible that the TOKIO of today could be that TOKIO group from 1990. Maybe one of the members changed recently...

Ahh Tokio, wonderful band indeed! I actually didn't know them before my japanese friend, who is an exchange-student here in Finland, told me about them. I believe they are really popular in Japan, although not so many people know them in western-countries where visual-kei is "the thing".
Tokio's newest album Harvest is so cool. I can't get enough of it. And yeah do!do!do! is gggreat.

Yeah! Koki loves to sew. He might look scary but if you "know" him closer by watching their making of PVs from KAT-TUN, he is like the most funniest guy ever. He's my Top One list. ^^ Hanayome To Papa, well, I haven't watch it yet but I know one of the member from KAT-TUN acted in it, to be more specific, Taguchi Junnosuke. I like him too but can be too annoying at times; as what the other KAT-TUN members said. He is full with lame Dajare but can be cute. He played Yukan Club also, together with Akanishi Jin, the other member of KAT-TUN. Most of KAT-TUN member acted in drama, Kame, Jin,Junno, Koki and Maru. Ueda doesn't do JDorama; although probably he acted once with Maru a long time ago (I have no clue as in what Drama) ^^ Have you watch Tokkyu Tanaka San Go? Koki's main. LOL. I'm looking forward in watching Sushi Oji. I like Yamapi too although I don't know lots about him. Acted with Kame right?

I love Koki's hair in Cartoon KAT-TUN, The episode of "Jitsua Boku.../Actually I...", Koki's talent at playing the piano. SUGOI~ Jin? Where do you see him wearing the Black Suede? I have no clue. ^^ Taguchi's not bad for me. Well, he played Yukan Club as Bidou, a swedish guy or something and had his hair blonde. Some thought it was nice but I thought it looks kinda weird, more to fake I guess. Daijoubu~ Now, his hair is short; if you saw their new PV, Don't You Ever Stop, or as most called it, DUES. Well, FYI, TAGUCHI LOOKS REAL HOT. Sugoi~ Kame also cut it short. I don't know what to say about his hair cause in Cartoon KAT-TUN, some of the episode, his hair is short and curled, which is weird, and some episode are just plain straight. In DUES, it looks like he was trying to grow a goatie or something and it looks kinda like WEIRD (again). And his costume in DUES are just plain weird (I know, again and again.) >< Have you heard about KOKAME pairings? I love it very much. And yeah, Kame has acted in One Pound Gospel. I wanna wathc it very much. I'm out of funds to buy anything right now (since I spend my money buying KAT-TUN's new album, QOP), so the only thing I can depend on is ONLINE. I watch him in MusicStation too. Everyone wanted to touch and one of the girls was like saying, "Treat me as your mother" while touching him. I wanna feel it so much. Well, he looks much bigger, with muscles though, not fats. ^^ I'm not good at sewing, although I have Home Economic Class during m Secondary School years. LOL. And I have forgotten everything cause last time I used to cross-stitch. BAKA~ Probably you could learn how to sew and sew for me. LOL. JK. >< *me being shameless* Nodame? What movie is that? I'm least interested in Jin when it comes to KAT-TUN. Yes, he's adorable and I would definitely keep him as a pet, but somehow when i notice him, he has this stuck-up attitude. Yeah, I'm so so so in love with Koki. Jarr, most people like akame pairing (which is first called AKAKAME; how weird (OMG, I should really stop with my "weird")) but yeah love love KOKAME the most. They gave me a major nosebleed, if you watch Hana Kimi; Nakatsu(Ikuta Toma), I'll be exactly going like that. I hang out at m friend's place just now and we went to the mall to check out DVDs at the CD store. And yeah, I notice Nodame Cantabile. Looks fun. I'll probably check it out online or something, I guess. Yukan Club? Have you watch the Jdorama yet? Taguchi as Bidou Granmanie is absolutely funny. ^^
