Sailormoon!!

Is Sailormoon as popular in Japan as they've told me? Is it easy to find stuf of it in shops? I'm a SUPER fan of it :cute: :love: I started liking japanese long time ago, when I managed to get the series with the original voices. The day I go to japan I'll by everything I find (till I have money :relief: )

I don't think Sailor Moon is available online anymore o.O;;
It's extremely hard to find the manga in stores these days over here. Thank God I've already got all 18 volumes... I finished reading them in elementary school XD

Yeah, Sailormoon Live Action. Personally I think it sucks. +__+ But I watched it anyway, and I even got the photobooks. Hama Chisaki is really pretty ^_^

Well the live action it was really funny to watch but i mostly watch it because of the actor that does Mamoru(he's really good looking)

I really loved Sailor Moon~ That's actually what got me into "Japan" in the first place~ It will always have a place in my heart~ But you know ever since I saw the subbed I can't help but cring everytime I see it dubbed~ It's like OMG they changed it QUITE a bit!!!!!!!!! I mean they even change one of the character's genders! And they added weird effects and they took out episodes! XD I could go on... But I'll stop ranting!

And I was wondering Anime vs Manga which do you prefer? In some bits I prefer the Manga myself but I find both were really good actually~ It's just that I wish they hadn't changed the Stars series so much because I really liked how it was done in the manga! The Star's season was my favorite of them all I really adored seeing all the "alien"(?) senshis~ It was just fun!

And to be honest I don't like Mamoru all that much myself... or Rini XD She kinda annoyed me a little~ XD But I adored Usagi! She was so adorable :cute: And Hotaru-chan I could just hug her!

And of course my favorite senshi were Sailor Chibichibi and Sailor Cosmos! They were both too awesome!!!!

Her's a chibi version of Sasilor Cosmos (for those who don't know her...) She only appears in the Manga but I find her too awesome~ And I was super disappointed that she didn't make an appearence in the Anime!

I love sailor moon!
I loved when I was a little kid to, I would get up early in the morning just to watch it. Now that I've watched it in japanese I can't believe all the stuff they removed!
(I know somebody already wrote this, sorta, but I'm in rant mode so) All the episodes they removed, they removed the second episode, I mean Ami enters the series in episode 5 in the swedish version, i guess she does that in all the dubbed ones but I don't know, she's supposed to appear in episode 8. And small things like you never saw usagi hit umino in the face with that blue ribbonthing in episode 7(or 4 in the dubbed versions), and what's with the covering everybody up every time there supposed to be naked or something they either cut most of the scene or blur the picture or raise the waterlevel, it's not like I want to see usagi naked it's just that I don't understand why they have to cover it up. And they changed Zoisite's sex he's a dude! Why is homosexuality such a bad thing?
Same with Haruka and Michiru, none of them change their sex BUT it's like their not in love any more.

Now I'm finished, except for one question:
There's supposed to exist a picture of Princess Mars in the arms of Jadeite.
I can't find it but maybe somebody has seen it or knows where it is?

haha...my dear mamoru chiba...yup, sailormoon is my very first anime that i watch when i was young...already almost 10years from now on...those sweet memory days....i used to on the tv earlier so that no one will get to snatch the remote from me..hehe...i really love sailormoon til now...i think usagi is annoying yet kawaii...odango atama..(dumpling head). I love the chemistry between mamoru and usagi. its funny as they always argue with each other whenever they meet.
i just finished watching sailormoon Classic. as for the manga, hmm...its kind of hard to get it in the net. I borrowed it from my fren..she ordered it...lol...i plan to buy the whole set as well...hehe...
As for Princess Mars..i dun see anybody there..are u sure? and who is Princess Mars anyway..i have neva heard of it....

Princess Mars= Sailor Mars

All the senshi are Princess from the own Planets.

Hmm.....I just think that they are warriors frm each planets...not really princess to me...hehe...anyway, i didnt c Mars in the arm of Jadeite...He is just a cool villain...i dun think he fell in love with any of the sailors or wat...

And well, though they were Senshi used to protect Princess Serenity during the Silver Millenium they were also the princesses of their respective planets. Same goes with the outer Senshi (you see this more in manga then in the anime though...)

The story behind the Princess Mars and Jedite is that During the Silver Millenium The Generals were actually good guys and generals under Mamoru to be specific. And each of them was paired off with one of the Senshi.

I do hear it's popular in Japan, well, that's just what a friend told me, haha.

That's basically what Sailor Moon is ABOUT and it sounds simple... but it really so much more then that. I think you definitly have to see it again if the only thing you can remember is Rini (which is a real character yes. Rini is the dubbed name of Chibi Usa, who is Mamoru and Usagi's future daughter)

No problem^^ Sailor Moon is a GREAT series~ I suggest you watch the sub and NOT the dub.... they change A LOT of things fwhen they ATTEMPTED to translat it ~
