Simple question that requires a simple answer; if you could choose one of the above three cities to live in, which would you choose, and why?

Any advice or information about each city would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers guys.

My personal opinion, I would go for Osaka, why? Because I have friends and family there and it is just a great city!!!
THere are soo many things to see, and soo many things to do in Osaka, that I never get bored:

Second place would be Kobe, because it is a great international city too. :-)

I have never been to Fukuoka, so I don't know much about the place.

To live in I would choose Fukuoka, because it's not as rushed and alot less crowded than most cities in Japan. But yet it still has the feeling of a city and isn't slow. I'm living in Fukuoka right now, and it's a blast. It was also voted the city to have the most beautiful women as well. (So I was told)

To stay for a year or less I would choose Osaka, because the people there seem more laid back and more out going. So you're bound to have lots of fun there, but the rush hour is a killer.

Never been to Kobe.

I've never been to any of those, but if I had to pick I'd probably say Kobe, because I've been told that it was voted the best city to live in in some survey in Japan.

If you're asking because you need to decide what to request on your JET application, then I'd say none of those, because I've been told repeatedly that requesting big cities is a bad idea.

Anyway, that's my ¥2.

Personally I would select Osaka, simply because i have friends there. However, I would prefer Fukuoka as it seems to be more relaxed than the other two (from what i've seen and heard anyway).
