How do I say and write Happy Birthday in Japanese. Is there some kind of character to use.. Can someone help. If you can not type japanese in here then email me at wyteanjal@hotmail.com thank you sooo soo much.. :p
お誕生日おめでとう! It's pronounced otanjoubi omedetou.

Well, you could drop the お. That would leave you with 誕生日おめでとう, but I think that's as short as it's gonna get. Unless you want to go with the English approximant ハッピーバースデー. Eh, nope, that's longer. :D

You might as well use an auspicious character like 福 if you haven't got much room.

I guess if you REALLY want to shorten it you could just put "omedetou"
おめでとう
But it loses meaning that way, but that is the shortest you can get it without putting anything at all :)
