I read some article about someone who had a japanese penfriend a while ago, so I got curious about it... how do I find one? :)

Well, you could start at the JRef Classifieds (http://www.jref.com/classifieds/). I don't even remember how I got my penpal, but I think it was through Yahoo, so I guess you could try that, too.

Japan-Guide has a bunch of options for you to choose from. You can specify where you want your penpal to be from, their age group etc. Once you specify, you can view ads posted by other people from another country wanting a penfriend. You have to log in to become a member first though, it doesn't cost anything and it's safe with no email spam.
