Does anyone know where I can obtain the Pimsleur courses within the UK? I've searched and cannot find them anywhere.

Down in Kent. I don't mind getting mail order or anything, but I can't seem to find any stockists online.

Then I suggest you get it mail order from somewhere not in the UK.
There may also be copies in a library somewhere near you. I know that the US Amazon has them. Have you checked the UK Amazon? They may also be available online....

I checked the UK Amazon, but I didn't find them. If you go to the library you'll probably have to get them by 'Laser Loan' which can be quite expensive (although not nearly as expensive as buying them :D ) and is for strictly a enforced time limit.

Do you mind them in MP3 format?

No I don't mind them in MP3 format, though I would prefer to have the originals. I'm not big on piracy, and always buy my own music and movies.

I've thought about that, but am not overthrilled on the thought of being charged import duty on something like that.

I found a company that does them in the UK
http://www.edisure.com/~howes/wfhowes/pimsleur/
They sell the 9 CD half course versions (1A, 1B, 2A, 2B etc) for £56.24 each including postage if you contact them direct. Just to let people know.
