Anyone seen the Korean film called Dollmaster? IMO its going to be a great cult film. Its got a good storyline with very good atmosphere and enough shocks to keep you on the edge of your seat.

I can say that the Koreans and the Chinese are starting to make more interesting pictures as of late. I still think one of the best Korean films I have ever seen was/is Friend.
Damn, that film made a lot of people I know get into Asian cinema.

I guess that you can call it a drama. It is based on actual events that happened to the writer/director during his life, so the movie is a true story.
If you can find a copy, I would say go for it.
Superb film.

Yes, DOLL MASTER is actually quite good and is another example of the lastest wave of great horror or thriller titles coming out of South Korea. I just satdown to watch the Korean SE disc and was quite pleased with the film's overall outcome. I also watched DEAD FRIEND (RYEUNG) and FACE which are both Korean thriller's as well that I would highly recommend. Next to the Japanese cinema, I believe Korean cinema is right there in terms of production values. I find most Chinese/Hong Kong productions these days to be very boring and often well over done.
