So.. I'm looking for a good manga with angels and/or devils with a good storyline, characterdesign etc.

I've read: Devil Devil, Angel Sanctuary, 666 Satan so far.

Know of any?

Although the manga "X" or "X/1999" isnīt about "devils" and "angels", there are pretty angelic characterizations, etc. Itīs about Apocalypse. Itīs a title I recommend.

wish by CLAMP has angels and devils but I thought it moved a little slow.

IMHO the best manga featuring angels is Angel Sanctuary. But if you're looking for good storyline and characterdesign you should have a look at Neon Genesis Evangelion (新世紀エヴァンゲリオン). There are lots of "angels" and "devils".

the X series sounds interesting and I'll give wish a try too, already seen Evangelion, It's good but It's not the kind of angels im looking for :)

I don't know if Ah, My Goddess fits your criteria, but that manga has a rather angelic feel to it! :blush:

Hmm... there was this manga and it had some sort of angels, but it was based in a Buddhism/Hinduism myths.... ahh!! RG Veda!! :)

Angel Sanctuary is really good...they have an awesome story even though most ppl I know don't take the time to read it because it has incest...that doesn't really bother me though..I've read up to the third manga and must admit I have become quite fond of reading it...it is happy, yet sad and I highly recommend it...

Angelic Layer? would that be considered "angel and devil" enough? I thought the storyline was good and the graphic detail was pretty good.

no.. Trigun nor Love Hina has angels if theyre not hiding behind some clouds or something that is..

DNAngel and ayashi no ceres are great manga/ anime with angel themes.

ayashi no ceres has a bit more violence / blood.
DNAngel is softer

I also have an art book called world end and my friend has another one called tarot world. Both feature angels and I totally love them.

eh... I thought of Ah my goddess too... though they aren't really angels... :?
yeah, X is kinda nice too~~

Umm... and maybe Fullmoon wo Sagashite... though the story line's not really like Angel Sanctuary or X or so... ^^

Dreamy - those look really nice... I've never heard of them though... o.O

ooh ya..I totally forgot about Haibane Renmei..that's such an awesome anime..I was sad that it was soo short, but the music was awesome...I have the first dvd..I got really into it...it was sorta sad, but it still really good ^^

Its season 3, but Galaxy Angels is as much about angels as Angelic Layer is.... Not a lot !

Plus... Is GA even a manga ??

Angel Sanctuary is definitely good. Les Bijoux (The Jewels) is also a great manga, though it has more to do with gods and such than actual angels. At least from the first four I've read. And it's has a Ranma-like twist to it...
