It was quite popular here in germany. :haihai:
Many big companies did the usual merchandising thing and cinemas were still crowded after 3 or 4 weeks.
btw: are there only sadistic dentists in australia? :?

Dory of course, In America its loved! i know old guys who love the movie. That movie is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny. I crack up evertime i see it. And the little tank cleaner....... oh oh and the fish that went was trying to get the fish to touch the "Butt" and the crabs fighting for food out of the sewage..... " all of them were funny  :p :D
I agree Esca! There were soo many scenes which were soo funny. For example the stupid seagulls shouting "mine, mine , mine." And the crabs of course!!! :D Especially the one trying to defend itself with karate against the seagulls!!
One of my favourite funny animation films!! Also, Ice Age is quite funny, but Finding Nemo is funnier....

Yeah, I agree. Dory is good at it too! The whale language can convince me!! :D

I have only experienced it twice in a cinema here in Copenhagen.
The first time was "Star Wars Episode 1" and second time was "Star Wars Episode 2."
Otherwise, I haven't experienced clapping at the end of films and haven't heard it is "common" practice...
