Hey guys, I found this site in my hunt...
http://www.lupinencyclopedia.com/profile/character/1.php

But... what I am looking for is Lupin III's family tree.

I want to know his mothers name, and his grand mothers name too. I assume the fathers name are exactly the same. Anyone know the answer to this super otaku question??

Thanks for any help!

better known as Arsène Lupin, le gentleman - cambrioleur, the name Lupin is derived from latin "lupus" in french : "loup" which means wolf. (please do not mix up with the "lupus" desease). Very shortly ( as the story is a whole lot mor complicated, believe me...) :
it is not really know as to how far back this originates, but one tells the story that Jacot Loup was an ancestor way back in the years 1450 ar so around, in the deep forests and hills of the Cevennes region (France http://les.cevennes.free.fr/index-an.htm ) The legendary (or real ??) story goes that a wolf used to be so cunning in these days and parts of France, that it could easilly attack travellers and more specifically rich merchants to half eat them. But the stunning part is that all their gold jewel and purses were never found. So it was suspected that the wolf (lupus) was in fact a man or rather half man - half wolf. One particular person was even arrested, but no charges (no proofs) were brought against him. He was released. But since then every one called him Jacques au Loup wich became Jacot Loup in the familiar language. The name was changed to Lupin quiet a few years later when the man moved to a distant city and suddenly became himself a very rich and successfull merchant. Traces of the familly is known throughout the ages and the more recent familly is known as Lupin - Durançon de la Vallières, or in short : Lupin.

Arsène Lupin is the son of :

Comte Georges Henri Marcel Lupin - Durançon de la Vallières (which I wil call L D V to make it easier) and Marylène Louise de Montchoisy (we will not follow her genealogy or of the ladies)

Comte Georges Henri Marcel L D V (father of Arsène Lupin)
was the son of
Comte Michel Alfred Henri LDV (married to Morgane Haut-Brion-Persac)
himself the son of
Comte Henri Jacques LDV ( married to countess Marie Romande-Percheval )
himself the son of
Comte Joseph Jacques LDV ( married to countess Hélène Micheline Rosé du Girond de la Batelière)

as you can see, Arsène Lupin is of a very aristocratic familly. and this goes back a long time.
