Hi everyone, I just read that the number of jinmei kanji (that is, kanji used in names) has increased recently. I would just like to know if anyone believe that it is likely that the jouyou kanji list will be expanded as well. 1945 kanji is hard to learn as it is but I think the language would benefit by increasing the number of officially accepted character to at least ~2500. What's your opinions on this? :?

Well, it would be nice with some more animal kanjis for instance...
How's the KanjiBooklet proceeding by the way? If you have time
please add the additional 114 kanjis needed for the Lv 1 JLPT...

aaahhh, japanese names are already hard to read when they're written in kanji, and now they're going to make it harder still?!?
