Hello everyone
I just moved to Shin-Osaka, and I can't even believe everything that is happening, it's like I imagined it but somehow slightly cooler. Anyone have any sights I should check out? My neighborhood is amazingly cool, and I really should be exploring it instead of sitting on the internet, so maybe I should go do that! :p

Going out and just randomly wandering around on foot or bicycle is a wonderful way to see things and learn about the place. The Blanche DuBois Method (rely on the kindness of strangers) will stand you in good stead.

thanks mike, I started doing that a bit today, it's a pretty quiet place it seems, a few blocks away it gets crowded and noisy but it's generally quite frendly, thanks again

Take lots-n-lots of pictures. Even (especially) the mundane stuff. You'll be glad you did later on. Not taking enough photos in the earlier days I was here is my single largest regret. Fortunately, we now live in the age of digital cameras. Remember, the more pictures you take, the cheaper the per-photo cost becomes. Not like in the bad ole days of film photography.
