you can use msn messenger for japanese typing. and are you talking about me about the desu and ka question? so sue me. i was creating a video game for japanese learning and i'm putting the info i learn into it as i go.

i actually come back to this thread after reformatting my computer for something, and then i try this once more. When i was talking to bama it worked quite nicely on AIM, but now it doesn't work at all. When i type something such as そうですか。　A seperate box opens up and the japanese text is inserted into that. Then when i press enter a bunch of question marks end up on the AIM screen. I don't understand what i'm doing wrong, all of my setting are set up according to those two links you gave.

DUHHHHHHHHHHHH...it's because AIM doesn't support Japanese language *rolls eyes* oh yeah, USE THE SEARCH BUTTON, this is the GOD KNOWS how much thread about AIM + japanese language :mad:
