yup... can read it... can't understand some of it though (the kanji)..why?

most of the others around here will be able to understand it all tho.. i'm just stupid :p

(and you've missed a "u" there making the す just an "s")

ah, the reason TwistedMac probably doesn't understand the kanji is cos it doesn't make sense :p

出羽 shouldn't be in kanji (means "sticking out feather"?!?!), should be just では

Is this what you were trying to say?:

"hello. how are you? well.

I caught a cold.

see you"

Assuming that's right, there are a few errors. Firstly, it's こんにちは rather than こんいちわ - the 'wa' is written 'ha' because it is the particle.

げんきですか。(元気ですか。) There is す here.

かぜをひきました。 (風邪を引きました) The object particle is spelled 'wo' を even though it sounds like お.

出羽 また。 should be just written with hiragana.

Is this what you were trying to say?:

げんきですか.

It shoud be お元気ですか with strangers, as it's more polite. 元気ですか? Or 元気? is too familar. Unless it's amongst friends.
