Anyone seen it ??? I've seen only Ring the first version , and am dying to know what happens then!

I think he would realise this when making his original post. Since the second and third Ring movies are rather hard to come by unless you have acess to the PAL format or crappy bootlegs, he may just want to know what to expect.

Not that hard to get, I got mine quite some time back from play.com published by Tartan Asia Extreme. (Assuming one means the Japanese film and not the crappy American remake) :lol

The Japanese version (the real thing) has been out a long while ago . But I haven't had the chance to watch it ... :(

When you come to japan , you think it's gonna be easy to find these stuff , but it's really not like that.

Usually stuff years before are also considered hard to get , since there will be like a million things new shops will be buissy with.

I bought Ring 2 (the Japanese version) at a shopping mall kiosk that sells Asian cinema (including chop-socky Kung-Fu flicks) on DVD. I have no idea when the U.S. version will be out.

Ms. Apollo, don't you mean, Uzumaki - The Spiral? If so, it is not a sequel to the Ring, just another movie by those responsible for the Ring.

@Suki-Yaki - When I was in Fukuoka, I had no trouble finding anything horror related. As a matter of fact, I found anylace that sold music, sold more than enough movies. HMV had tonnes of items available, and I even saw some nice DVD's in second hand stores. I would have bought more, but it wasn't until the last year that English subtitles have become more mainstream on films in Japan.

Nope, I don't mean Uzumaki. Rasen/The Spiral is the original sequal to ringu (by Suzuki Koji).
But because the film was not popular, Hideo Nakata made "his own version" of Ring 2.

No need to say sorry. :-) Just misunderstanding...about uzumaki, I see people can think about it when mentioning anything which has the word "the spiral" connected to it....

You should see both of the sequals to compare.....Rasen/the spiral is definately a weird sequal...sadako's doings are explained with dna and stuff....weird.

I've seen Uzumaki, and while it's okay, the manga was better. As for which version of Ring was scarier, my vote's for the Japanese version.
