I want to create a ~Japanese~ site but I need HELP!!

:( Muurgh!! I wish to create a Japanese site that I guess is kinda like this, only is a class where members can become sensei to more beginner learners, and you can learn Japanese as well as calligraphy and recipes and blah x.x YA! :p However, I really need to know 2 things before I cant get this working. I need to figure out how to create a newsgroup (okay, I'm new to this, be nice x.x I know nothing about newsgroups, but tehy sound like waht I need), and I was wondering if anyone knew a free web hoster that lets you create a site (where I could keep the site) ?

Any help would be appreciated! Also anyone who would like to help me will get a bug hug =D :-)

You probably don't want to create a newsgroup. It's similar to emailing each other back and forth and I think it's unorganized. I'd just find some kind of host and find a free board software to have people sign up and post questions and stuff.

Well, some additional info would help get you started.
- Do you want a free host? (most likely will have ads and might not support hosting a domain name)
- If you're willing to pay for a host, how much per month? (cheap is about $5/month, low support)
- Do you want a domain name? (usually not free, cheap is about $7/year)

Yes, I was on another thread where someone was looking for a study buddy, and they came up with the idea of having a forum for studying. If that happens, I'd want to do that instead of create my own site, because it would bge much easier and there would be more people to work with.

I have webspace, so you can either buy a domain name or I can give you a subdomain, I will host you, setup a newsgroup. design the site, script it etc. :) just PM me and we'll work something out.
