.... PLAYING KATAMARI DAMACY FOR THE PS2!!!!!

Wow, this game is astounding and so simple. Simply roll your Katamari (crazy looking ball thingee that collects stuff as you roll it.) and make it bigger and bigger in an effort to fix all of the stars in the sky that the great king of the universe (your father) decided to destroy one night while drinking heavily or something.

Collect more things, the ball gets bigger. The bigger the ball, the bigger the items you can collect. It sounds simple, but it isn't . In fact, the simplicity is a clever ruse by Namco, the game's developer, to hide the true evil of the game's difficulty. So many times, I have tried to make the ball as big as possible and so many times failed. So sad.

But, the music is awesome, the graphics are so simple I would say they are perfect. This game will have you rolling (literally.).

$20 US, not sure about other territories.

BUY THIS GAME!!!!

Sorry for the crazy post, it is a crazy game.

It actually wouldn't work on the Cube, cause you have to use both joysticks together to move and I don't think that yellow stick on the GC would react properly.

By the way, no game has ever given me blisters like what I got from playing Katamari Damashi. On the outside sides of my thumbs, from the knuckle to the base of the nail in length, half that wide and half that high. And, instead of quitting for a few days until I healed, I just slapped bandaids over them and kept going. When that got to be too painful, I boiled a needle to clean it, drained the blisters, then put on more bandaids with antibiotic cream to keep them from getting nasty.

The game was worth it all. :D

I want this game. I'm too lazy to find out if it's out in the UK though. Oh well, maybe it'll roll my way some day. ROLL! Do you get it? :D Wooo.

This is my favorite PS2 game. I like the part where the King of the Universe vomits rainbows at the end of each mission. I hear the sequel will be out soon in Japan.

I heard the exact same thing and pray that the sequel makes it out here. We need more quirky games here in the states.

A forum member on another site hosts a weekly web radio program and loves this game so much, that he uses the music as his theme song.

man.. I looked at some videos from the game and at first I thought, "ehm.. is that fun? whats the point of it?" etc then after watching some more and reading about it I really got the feeling that the game totaly rocks, so I'm woundering if you know if it's comming to PAL or if it's a JAP and US release only.

thanks
