Ah, only one at Megacon? Alrighty then. I'm not familiar with that con, だ～か～らぁ～

MegaCon was here in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center...to see the concert you just needed to pay the $20 entrance to the con, but if you wanted vip tickets so you could sit closer to the front you had to pay another $20...I have to hear more of their music, but soo far I don't think I like the much...not saying that they're bad...they just don't seem like the type of music i like...

omg thats like only $40! whoa ims so much more expensive here in Canada. usually cons are $40 to get in and no band really ever played here but concerts are usually very costly...

It was $40 for the VIP seats here and $20 to $25 for admission to the con depending on the day.But in return you get two cool PLC bags, a little pencil/make-up bag type thing, two little figures (I had Seek and Lida, my sister had Aya and Daishi, so we went back and bought a Yura to have the whole collection...^-^;; ), a postcard set, and um...key chain things.

I have two...XD one is yellow plastic...very random (like a grocery sack turned into a backpack...O.o ) and My favourite is the cute little black side bag I got. It has really big pockets for stuff and its says "PLC Psycho-ology tour 101" on the front in red and white. If I have another camera i will try and take a picture of it for you....*nods*

And I think now is the perfect time for me to know more of these guys :-)

I don't know very much about them I'm afraid. Except, I posted some pics on the pretties thread, but I will post them again for you here.

Miz knows more about them - she sent me songs :thankyou: Which I really like! *dances the stupid but happy dance yet again*

They are the only happy music I listen to... although I have no clue what the lyrics are because I haven't found any translation yet :( does anyone know of any? Music is kind of... well, some of the songs are heavier, like Murder Death Kill (that one's really good!) and some of them are like, uhhh, dance music. Yeah, yeah, Gekai Merry-go-Round... it's thoroughly embedded in my brain at the moment... :dance: :dance: :dance: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: I also really like Love is Dead.

All the members have done solo projects, too.

They're really well known for their wacky costumes. A great band to cosplay. They also really like fans to cosplay them and to copy their dances. I read somewhere there is even a video/dvd on how to dance one of their dances! :D

I'm sure Miz will be happy to tell us more... :-)

Plc are soo much fun! Their music is good for dancing, and is most of the time quite happy. I really like them, they seem to be somewhat different from many other jrock groups, which can be good if you feel like watching colorful, wacky costumes and dance to happy music once in a while *only does it when nobody watches*

Aya is my favourite. He's such an angel! And how could we NOT love that pink hair... *loves it* Aya is 1,74m and weighs 58kg. He is the lead guitarr and DANCER of Plc (yeah, dancer) so, in some songs he just sort of stands around and does some wierd dance, but it's really funny to watch! Also, how can a man seriously dress up in a yellow and pink frilly dress and STILL manage to be cool and hot? I don't know, but Aya manages... Aya is also said to be somewhat a manga otaku; he said he can't decide wether he likes manga girls or real girls better... (random)

I like Aya. Sorry I can't post pictures.

Also, does anyone know anything new about Daishi and his police affair? *worried* (wait... I'm the one in Japan, shouldn't I know... *hits herself*)

and btw this is their Yume Kazaguruma look, based on the Japanese folktale Momotaro ^^

PLC is a visual band with varying styles of music and looks. Their goal is to destroy the typical VK band image(or something like it i cannot remember the exact words). Their music vary from pop to dance to pop rock to rock. Sample song from each are Roman Hikou(pop), Dance II Heaven(dance), Ai no Uta(pop rock), Murder/Death/Kill(harder rock). Some songs use traditional instruments, such as Yume Kazaguruma which use some Japanese intruments and Omoi de Aruki which use some Chinese instruments.

Each single or PV has a look of their own. The looks are usually based on a theme or story. PLC's looks vary from VK to school uniforms to warriors to monkeys and to whatever the hell they can think of. There is a pattern with which band members cosplay what: usually Daishi is the hero/main character, Aya is the girl, Yura is the hansome guy, Seek is the weird thing, and Lida is whatever role is left. *laugh*

and i LOVE the paraparas they do, so far i've learnt 4 ^^

Aww Miracle... Miz sent me all the PLC songs I have except for three! and I like their music... :-)

Daishi... he was arrested... he was caught with possession of drugs (crystal meth and I think weed as well but I'm not sure on that). The sentencing is pretty harsh on drugs in Japan... someone has said something like 2 or 3 years but I don't know the truth of that, nor how long is for Daishi. He was saying that he did not take the stuff, but they did a blood test (I think) and they found the drug in his bloodstream, so.....

There was a thread about it way back. It's really sad... :( I like Daishi. :kanashii:

:bawling: Poor Daishi... and I support him too. In fact, I wrote a letter... It is the only mail I ever wrote to a musician. Normally it is not at all my style to write such... It wasn't a fanmail exactly... just support. Not long, cos I'm not good at writing letters. And, anyway, I guess a PLC agent just reads all stuff and makes a note "you have received x number of mails"........

But on a cheerful track, it is good to hear they are doing stuff... I really want to hear, when it's released! :relief: Hmm, I love the crazy, fun image of PLC... but, as long as they are doing stuff musically, I guess it doesn't matter to me if they keep the same image, depends how they feel happy with progressing, I think. :-)

In 2004 Psycho le Cemu was voted 100 most influential people of Japan in Newsweek magazine (Japanese edition). During the 2nd leg (Orlando, Fl.) of Psycho le Cemu's 2005 Psycho-logy 101 USA tour I had a chance to sit down with each member for an interview.

We took everyone to Golden Corral for dinner one evening and Yura-sama sat across from me. After dinner he spoke about the U.S. tour and his mind.

Do you have any goals in coming to the U.S.? If so, what are they?

I wish to speak English better. During my stay I want to listen to other people speak English and hopefully master master the technique from it.

Are there any other countries you wish to perforn in?

Performing lives in the U.S. is the only other country we've been outside of Japan so in the future any country is okay with me.

Which is your favorite season?

I like summer the best because I like to sweat. Maybe this is the reason why I'm thin. I do not care for cold weather at all. I wish I could just hibernate the entire winter. It was so cold last week in Arlington I stayed in my hotel room most of the time and played my new PSP.

Which school subject was your favorite?

Let me see... I remembered that English was my worst subject because I did not think I'd ever use it... had I know. I would have to say mathematics because I was very good at it.

Which is your favorite PLC song to perform?

This is a tough one because I have many favorites... I guess I prefer easy songs.

The song you sang with Daishi on stage - what was it called?

It's callled Area. That is the only song that we sing together.

I believe many fans enjoyed it! Will you sing more in the future?

Maybe... Daishi has to approve of it first (jokingly speaking)!

Of course many times! Lida has a great voice!

What about the worst singing voice?

It has to be Aya! If you ask all the members I am quite sure they will all say Aya even Aya himself (laughing).

Milk! I drink hot milk every night before I sleep!

Do you have any rituals or routine before you take the stage?

Because I play drums and dance I do stretches. I do not have any weird rituals or anything like that.

If you were the winner of a 100 million U.S. dollars lottery what would you buy first?

If I won I would take everyone out to dinner first and celebrate!

While on the subject of food what would your ideal birthday dinner be?

Right now I can only think of white rice. I have been outside of Japan for about a week now and I miss my white rice.

What is the weirdest thing ever thrown on stage?

Panties!!! There were 2 thrown on stage last week in Katsucon. I was shocked when I saw them! In Japan lives people are forbidden to throw objects on stage.

Do you have a message you would like to give to your American fans?

Next time please throw panty and bra on stage as a set!! (Lots of laughs!!)

Though I hate PLC (sorry, but I do), I thought this might be exciting news for PLC fans. According to the PLC official site (http://www.psycholecemu.jp/index.html) and the Synectics official site (http://www.synectics01.com/), PLC is doing a tour in May. It's not clear whether or not they'll get a new vocalist or if DAISHI will be coming back to perform with them, but either way it seems like PLC is getting back together.

If you want to read about what happened with DAISHI, just go to the PLC liverjournal community http://community.livejournal.com/psycholecemu/ and you'll probably find all the info you need there. Or you can read about it on wiki http://wiki.theppn.org/Psycho_le_Cemu. To do a search you just go to the search function at the top and input whatever you want to search, just like any other search engine. Sometimes it can be difficult to find older threads depending on what they were named, but the other PLC thread should be easy to find by just typing Psycho le cemu.

The dates for the PLC's tour are up on JaME now - Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo. :)

Aya and Seek are also doing a radio interview. Sounds like they might be getting back on their feet again... I've got my fingers crossed for Daishi.

Eek! I heard on Batsu, that on their OHP it says that after the tour, PLC will stop activity! :shock:
I can't read the Japanese text though... Akiya69 translated the last phrase from the OHP into -- "After this last LIVE,Psycho le Cemu will stop activity without day." (I assume meaning to read "delay".)
I am really shocked.
I really thought that their tour was positive, and they release a CD too!
But maybe this is not true, or has been misread? Can anyone read Japanese and check the OHP? :?
Maybe Daishi is still not really well? :worried: :(
This week is not a good week for news about bands. :(
