Yay, back again.. but for how long? Lol, anyway I really want to update some of my rants and create one more based more on actual evidence rather then "evidence" from fan(girl)s so if any Diru fan could take the time to make a small list I'd appreciate it. Here's what I need answered(AND I'd appreciate examples, so I may base my own opinion, thank you! )
Which concert(available to all) has the most fanservice?
Which concert has the(in your opinion) best fanservice?
Which concert has the(in your opinion) worst fanservice?
Which concert has the least ammount of fanservice?
Which concert has the best costumes?
Which concert has the worst costumes?
Which concert(terms of sound/song quality) do you feel is the best?
Which concert(same) do you feel is the worst?
Overall: Favorite concert? Least favorite?
(Also if you have photobooks and would like to give you opinion on those[not necessarily[sp?] with these questions, but overall opinion] feel free to include that.)

i haven't watched concerts, i've only seen clips of them, but i find that KyoXTotchi fanservice from the macabre tour was some great stuff.

Osakajo Hall '99 has the best fanservice. It also has the most. The Code of Vulgar[ism] has the worst, simply because Kyo screaming, clawing and grabbing himself isn't entertaining in the least. 5 Ugly Kingdom tour final has the least amount of fanservice. Osakajo Hall, again, has the best costumes. Macabre comes in number two. 5 Ugly Kingdom has the worst costumes. Furry coats and cowboy hats, uh, no. Die's suit was fantastic however. 5 Ugly Kingdom is the best in terms of sound and video quality, very high quality shooting. Lots of angles, beautifully done. Macabre is the worst. I noticed lots of blurriness and bad views, and the sound wasn't particularly good. Best I've seen so far is the 5 Ugly Kingdom video. Loooovely. I've watched it more than ten times, probably. It's really great.
And I liked the XX and Dragonfly books. <33

Lydia, you are as of now my best friend, lol. No, but really, thank you for all that information, if anyone else can agree with you then I think we'll be set on which is going to be bought(or at least asked for). One thing I do question though(and take no offense, I ask this to everyone who takes interest in Diru's fanservice) is fanservice. I mean, sure it is enjoyable to watch but how appropriate is it for this particular band? To be honest, I'm glad they're changing...

She only named 4.. Its not really that much, but compared to how many people really see(*cough* one *cough*) then I suppose it could be considered allot.

well, 4 is a lot, to me, since i've never seen them only clips of some. some people aren't as fortunate to have enough money to buy one.

I'm quite a big Deg fan, so I got everything I could. Only things I lack are the Gauze PV DVD and the Blitz 5 Days box set. If you want to get the most for your money, I would suggest 5 Ugly Kingdom. The best I've seen. The Macabre one is kind of 'documentary'-like, it doesn't have so much live performance as showing them as they practice, the venues they played in, getting into their costumes, going to and from - there's actually only 4 or 5 full songs on it, something like Ain't Afraid to Die, Macabre, KR Cube, Rasetsukoku, and one other one I can't remember. If you want live performance, go for any of the other ones. And since the prices are quite steep($60 for Macabre, 5 Ugly Kingdom and Vulgar[ism], $70 for Osakajo Hall .__.), you'll be best off with 5 Ugly Kingdom. ^_________^
As for fanservice... I'm not fond of it. It does nothing for me, and I think it's silly in most cases since it's obvious there's no real attraction. Except with Raphael and rice. <333
In Deg's case, it's not something that makes me want to see it more.

IK would buy the DVD's but my DVD player wont run region 2s so it would sort of be a waste for me...I feel sad saying that buying Dir en Grey would be a waste....I have to go now...yeh...I shouldnt say things like that...

I have a reigon free DVD player(it was only 70$ so I reccomend getting one). I believe that excluding the dvd player issue, in a sense it could very well be considered a waste to buy Dir en Grey DVDs for many reasons. One being the fact they sound better on CDs. Two, CDs are cheaper. Three, Dir en grey don't do themselves any good with what we typically see in lives. Sure dvds got extra stuff(from what I understand) but thats what photobooks are for. The only thing I can say is, support your artist, yes, but in the way that matters, and the way that is appropriate.

There's a saku photobook? If there is... $97 is extremely excessive. But I really had no idea there was one.
