Cosplay question

Dear friends,

okie, so im making a costume right now for cosplying Mana at Anime North in May. it's kind of like a blue black and white lolita dress with a matching purse and head band, since i want to look like the Mana that's modeling his clothes for his store. the thing is, i have stright short chinese hair(very difificult to curl), and i want to get an opinion from you guys which wig should i get: black curls, blue curls, blonde curls, or white curls? also i need some advice on which stores i should go to to buy the wig? i have no clue where they sell wigs. T_T so pretty please help me? :blush:

Can't tell you where to go but.. i really love the Mana with the blue curls but I seggest if you wanna look more like the current Mana you go with black curls which are probably easier to find.

btw I hope you are ready to splurge cuz those things dont come cheep (at least not if you want a nice one) ^-^

lol T_T i knew i should've bought one in china, they cost like 3 bucks there...

ya i think black curls look like the Mana now, but it's really plain. i remember there was one where he had very pale blur ringlets, but it might be hard to find T_T i think i will try blue thanks Berri!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^_______________^

lol well it's black blue and white and i guess it's a pretty typical lolita dress, with ribbons and everything. and i based my purse on Mana-sama's design too! XD

with a piece of a song text on the back. owh, but i got a question: how should i write the lines on the back?
do i have 2 do it from right too left, or from right too left and from up till down?

i know it's a lil bit confussing and not really what you all where talking about but can you help me out? :-)

miz, if you have to, they sell fake hair around here, colored people usually buy them to make their hair longer and such. the good ones are not cheap, but some are pretty reasonable............


i need advice too -_- and yes, its on cosplay ><
i really want to do a Toshiya look, or kyo, but i can't decide on the look or which guy i wanna cosplay ><

but then again, I've cosplayed Obscure Kyo countless time and won a few awards for scariest ( yay) i love the whole Obscure look, top to bottom ( i even wear my outfit out in the public to go shopping and to school)

I'm going to animeboston, and my friends going to cosplay as Gackt,another of my friends is going with a group of other people as Nightmare. I'm stuck, I dont know what to do, anyone have suggestions? Is anyone going to animeboston?

hmmm...how many other people are you going with? Try some one who has done solo stuff so you don't have to worry about needing the rest of a group with you. like....Hide or someone. Bright pink hair is always awsome!! XD

Yeh...I didn't have a wig brush when I did my Isabella cos (long ago) and it got all screwed up and never went back to the way it was...plus, the bangs made my forehead itch....

WWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAA Miz you look so pretty!!!!!!!!!! if you need help with the mana make-up there is a site called mana-wannabe that has step by step how to do Mana's make-up, ( i should know =P i do it all the time) all you do is line you're eyes, the usual areas then do a thin line along the rim of your eye lashes on you eye lids, then carefully go around the outside of you're eye.

the lips are easy too^____^
take what ever color eyeliner you're going to use for the liner, make a McD's arch from you're top lip, make sure you pull it up a bit then trace along your lip until you get near the ends, but DO NOT connect them to the edges of your lips.
trace the bottom lip and then color/fill you're lips in.
