I have been listening to pierrot for a while now and I think they are pretty cool. I noticed though that there weren't any threads on them in this forum, so I decided to make one. Basically just wondering what people around here think of the band and stuff.

They just released a new album too(so i guess its a good time to begin this thread) Has anyone else heard this yet? I personally like it alot because it seems to combine the sounds of ID attack with some of the older stuff.

Anyway.

Kirito's voice is a little too on the whiny side for me, so while some of their music appeals to me (largely from PRIVATE ENEMY), anything after Heaven: The Customized Landscape was pretty much a disappointment. I really liked PRIVATE ENEMY, which was the first Pierrot album I bought, so I got Heaven, expecting it to be as good and it just wasn't. I was bummed. It rather soured me on Pierrot. :|

really? I also got PRIVATE ENEMY first and I liked it a good bit, i bought ID attack second and then heaven and so on until I had all of the full albums.. but for me heaven was awsome.... I think automation air is my favorite pierrot song ^_^;;

I really like Pierrot...I wasnt a big fan at first but they have really started to grow on me!! I have to say I really liked ID Attack as well and I like Kirito's new look as well...

oh, i have the dictator's circus one, it's the only one i have too ^^; except for the get backers cd my aunt accedently got cause it was in japanese so she didn't know it only had two songs on it :relief: the dictator's circus one is good too! *wonders what their other music is like*

Pierrot! One of my favourite band! Uwa~~ I must see this band live!! I've only seen a few live clips... and they are AMAZING!! Kirito is such a perfectionist :blush: and he sings every song perfectly during lives~ :)

But sadly, they are on hiatus right now... :(... hopefully they will be performing lives/releasing albums (or singles) soon again :D

Hello! I have a question, and i was hoping one of you could help me out with it. ^_^ Anyways, my friend/cousin Ivzee (who is the best!) recently lent me a CD. It has a picture of the anime getbackers on the front, however the back picture has a picture of Pierrot, in anime O_o. There is three songs on the CD, all by pierrrot. I was told, that my aunt bought this CD from Japan. Ive checked pierrots discography, and getbackers official soundtracks, but this CD, isnt listed on either. I really want to know the names of the songs on this disk, so if anyone has more information on this, please help ^_^

Well, it all starts out with Kirito wanting to try out solo stuff anyway. And then he meets up with Kiyoharu(or whatever the name is), who is this tough guy that he's got something going with.
Anyway, it's supposed to just be a fling, but he so severely ****s up Aijis head that Aiji one day, out drinking all by himself ends up with random guy(who is sort of in the same situation), wakes up the next day and realizes what he's done.
He needs to talk to someone and chooses Jun. He agrees with Jun not to tell Kirito about it.
Anyway, coming back from seeing Kirito, Jun tells Aiji that he thinks Kirito knows.
Turns out Jun didn't tell him, but he told Takeo, who is Kohtas buddy-buddy, and Kohta grabs the first chance he get to throw in his brothers face that "Haha, you ****** up!"
Aiji decides he has to see Kiro, so he goes to the place where he's at(photostudio, I think, but I'm not sure). Soon as Kiro sees him all he does is look up at him before he sais: "Get out, I don't want to see you".
So basicly, they're in trouble, but they will get out of it. Who knows? Maybe Kiro will finally swallow his pride.
(Before you ask, this is not something I read in a fanfic!)

It is a goodbye single named Hello. I can't beleive they broke up, they were one of my favourite bands. And they were sort of part of the foundation of j-rock.
From what I gather, what Kala said earlier seems likely. It's what I get out of the explenation Kiro gave after the break-up.
Seems Aiji and Jun didn't like the focus on Kirito from not just being the vocalist, but now also solo career.
But they've said something about solo careers though, Jun and Aiji.
Meanwhile, Kohta's been playing with a band named Everlasting K for a while, but I'm not sure if he's going to join them. And Takeo is following Kirito on his next solo tour.
