Need Help Please- Japanese song w/ mothers

I was wondering if anyone could reccomend, or knew of, any songs in Japanese that are about moms.

I know this must seem like a bit of an odd request, but i'm in a mother daughter charity league and i have to present a speech which is to be accompanied by music.

My speech is about my mom, and i would love to have japanese music in the background. My mom is half japanese and i am a quarter, plus i really enjoy japanese music and as such, i feel that a japanese song would be perfect.

I know that there is a small chance that any of the people at the function will be able to understand the words, and i could probably choose any japanese song that sounded good, but to me it just wouldn't feel right if the song wasn't really about mothers.

This is really important to me and i was wondering if anyone could help me out. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions that you might have.

There's a song by Luna Sea that's titled "Mother". Not sure if it's actually about a mother though as i don't speak Japanese... It is however a ballad, so it could be very well used for background music to a speech. Then again, you might want to have instrumental music for a speech... Oh well, maybe someone else has any better suggestions.

ummm...I would love to help you but the only songs I know involving mothers are well...violent songs...O.o sorry!

yes same. most songs i know about moms are very harsh and violent.

If you're just going by titles, then I believe Puffy has a song called "Mother" as well... more pop-oriented but still pretty mellow. Again, I'm not particularly fluent in Japanese and I don't have the lyrics in front of me, but perhaps this is a possibility too...
