I've been offered an interview by a university back home in England, but they state that they can't offer interview by telephone, and were wondering if I could set up a video link here in Japan to talk to them. I would need to converse with them between UK times 9 am to 5 pm (Japan 18:00 to 02:00). Is there anywhere in Kumamoto I can go to do this?

Pretty urgent as it's the only medical interview I've been offered, I will probably go round my friends to find out if any have webcams and broadband.

Do you have broadband in your home? If you do, just go get a 3000 yen web cam. The quality isn't that hot, but better than nothing I suppose.

Yeah, I was thinking that would be the best option. I have no PC at home, only my boss's office comp. is available at the hours the university is asking. The problem would be getting permission, and also being here alone, lots of video screenings done in her office. I guess I best be off to Yamada!
