As a collector i prefer to have the original Japanese release. And if possible, the first pressing as well. Still, when i'm in Bangkok, i often can't resist buying Thai, Taiwan or HK pressings.

I have to admit, this hobby has gotten a bit too expensive for me to keep up.

If you're looking for a new market though, try selling second hand cd's, just like e-bookoff does. Except they don't ship overseas (yet), but if you could do that, i'm sure i'd be interested.

I'll always buy original Japanese pressings over oversea's pressings, regardless of cost.

I prefer the stuff from Japan rather then the english versions, despite the prices, because they are alot nicer. If I am not so fond of the band but want to hear the album and they have an english copy, I would by it instead but that doesn't happen often...
