Hi I am new to this Forum and would like to say hi to all.
As a Older Gamer 30 years old, I wish to Broaden my mind.
The Wife don't understand about the need for gaming so thats why I am here.

As a avid gamer I own all the main consoles Xbox,PS2,Dreamcast, GameCube, GBA, Gamepark and hopefully soon be the owner of a PSP but the world of japan Games and Technology has always been a stranger to me.

Well no more, I was wondering if there are any good websites for gaming and technology.
I already know about

Lik-Sang, Yes asia, Play Asia and HKsuccess but was wondering if there are any others who ship to the uk.

Also If anyone has any good game news sites for the Japan market, they would be good too.
If any of you from Japan want to share news on games, technology or any thing else then feel free to Private Message me. I am keen to learn more about your culture and gaming habits and I will let you in on the culture and habits of us in the Uk. Also you can practice your english and I can start to learn Japanese

Xbox Live has got the world together and we all should embrace it.

So any help will be great.
Thanks

Barry

Welcome to Jref, man.

I think one of the better sites out there is 1up.com .

They have a stable of news sources that you can set up to get news and information on gaming. I think a lot of it is directed to the US and Japan, however. But you can set up a page for free and possibly make some friends that way.

Hope it helps.

I'd definitely recommend 1-up, since it's where the site for the mag I read is (GMR) and also Gamespot, which also links to Gamefaqs for most games (they recently affiliated) for when you're in a tough spot in a game.

I seriously doubt there's anything at gameshark that you can't find on gamefaqs' code pages, and then you have to have a gameshark device anyway.

trust dude...they are. don't get me wrong...i hated school, but it all seems a piece of piss compared to the real world. and if you only ever listen to one piece of advice in your life make it this one...save any money you can!!! everyone said it to me but i ignored them and now i am freaking broke (beyond broke...so overdrawn that the bank is starting to send round angry looking men with baseball bats!). but the upside being i have loads of cool CDs and DVDs!!!

anyway, back to gaming...my favourtie site...and the only one i use is http://ign.com
it covers all platforms.
