Wierd Japanese Shows

I like going to wierd sites like MuchoSucko. and my favorite thing is when I see video clips from strange Japanese shows. Like theres a show where girls slap eachother and I saw a japanese clip of some sort of Sex gameshow where (out of a croud of girls) the winners get to be f***ed be the guys. and a bunch of weird stuff like that.
and when I watch TV shows that show strange things from around the world it's usually Japan that has the craziest and funnest stuff.
My question is: does anyone know where I can find these shows? or where I can find more clips?
I'm addicted but can't find my fix cuz it's hard to find.

i seem to remember in a previous thread we established that the sex gameshow wasn't an actual japanese tv show.

in answer to your question, no. i don't search for those sorts of things, but if someone does provide a link i'll probably check it out :p

These arent normal shows but probably specially made for cable or something. Dunno what they are called though...

takeshi's castle, the first japanese show i ever saw, lol, great stuff, even know it looks pretty pointless and lame.

most of my experience of japanese show's comes from british show's showing funny clips from foreign TV and tv AD's, and somehow japan always shows up in them.

i fail to see the entertainment value of japanese TV but then again, im british, we do have a different sense of humor =/.

I once saw a clip of a Japanese tv show on tv and to me it looked more like torturing people rather than something I'd watch for fun... Makes me think of the ancient Romans and the gladiators fighting to death @_@

But yeah... A bunch of utterly mindless tv programs exist here too.

I agreee very funny episode of faulty towers, in fact I was on the floor laughing it was so funny. oh and takeshi's castle is awesome as well!

As far as I can remember, Takeshi's castle was the only syndicated Japanese show to be broadcasted in the Philippines. I remember it was wacky, with a contestant going through crazy obstacles just for a shot at the castle. But now,we mostly have anime series here.

i seem to remember, even though i was half drunk, a rather amusing new years special back in, gosh, end of 2002. they had a guy wearing just a loincloth in a big wooden cage, and up above him the torturer people set these big leafy tree branches on fire and shook them in time to the taiko. this resulted in burning leaves and other debris failing down on him below while he jumped about trying to avoid it as much as possible. lol... quite weird...

I remember at the end of 2003 they had that short comedian guy doing all sorts of weird things in a loincloth, my favorite was him trying to walk a tightrope over some water, the water of course being freezing cold thanks it to being winter. He would fall in and RUN to a tub of hot water they had setup for him... lol :D

4 tries, 4 times he fell in and they said "ok, were out of time so we'll just have to leave it at that" and by this time he had stripped off and was running around naked hahaha :D
