I got this kid bugging me on how to say white rice. Tell me please so he stops asking me. He wants to say "I want white rice." I find hakumai, would it be "hakumai kudasai"?

Does he want white rice
a) ready to eat in his bentou (or whatever) or
b) white rice uncooked in a bag

I would assume ready to eat, he doesn't know any japanese or anything he's talking about saying it at some japanese place, I dont know...
Just some kind of standard like restaurant type speech.

Hmm, I get the impression that 'white rice' is the default and doesn't need to be specified at restaurants. はくまい is probably technically correct but it generally seems to be used in the context of rice production / raw rice rather than cooked.
After a little looking around I think you're better off with 白いご飯.
