yea... i kinda agree with you. i was hoping for much more on alpha but it wasn't that good compared to zekkeishoku. it is a new type of alice nine, and i like them for exploring but it's just kinda disappointing >.< Hoping the mirror ball thing will be good. im not going to say anything about it until i hear the full song...

yeppz. i guess alice nine. is just trying out various styles..~? i really like their rock side, but their other sides aren't That bad. i agree, i reaally love zekkeishoku...maybe a littl more than alpha. i hope they find the side of them that they'll love *_*

hm....about that trying out thing...I kinda think that they plan to continue more the current way than their old style...dunno...
I'm a litte unsteady about their development. although I really liked their older style of music, the new one is so different from it....but I love it because of it's brightness and sometimes thoughtfulness.

maybe they're only becoming a brighter and more cheerful band? or they're still searching for a really NEW thing...

ah yeah....there's something more: I just bought the magazine Rockoon! and there's an interview with them in it. one of the questions was:
"What can you tell us about your latest album Alpha?"

will if u watch closer everyone is wearing a color saga green on his leg,shou purple ,tora blue on left hand , nao i think yellow shoes as i remember , hirato dark blue bandana in his pants .^-^
yeah you're right of course^^ I watched it on yt, quite poor quality and therefore I did't see the other colors (except of sagas green stripe...xD) now I have a HQ version!
it's a nice idea, I think^^ but shous shoes are still a bit out of place :p

having watched the PV, I read the lyrics of Eraser and I must say....it fits perfectly well to them.
I'm feeling sad...it's a beautiful meaning, but it makes me sad :bluush:

I watched the PV for Mirror Ball and I must say, it's REALLY well done! Eraser is nice too! But I don't think that the grey/silver hair fits Shou too much...I guess that's cause I'm used to him with blond hair instead

no offense to anyone in here, because I like you guys, you're cool, but after hearing the latest works of alice nine I've been fed up for the last time. ALICE NINE SUCKS! This coming from a once avid A9 fanboy. Shou and the guys managed to turn what was once a great visual kei rock band in to a disgusting generic, played, sugary bubblegum pop boy band and it makes me ******* sick! I say shou because I believe it's mostly his fault, I honestly dont know how tora and saga can stand this **** seeing as they've always been pretty big rockers...I miss the real alice nine, the alice nine that wasn't about fame and fortune, the alice nine that was about making good music. I am heart broken at what these guys have become, for the first time ever, I will not be purchasing or downloading the latest alice nine release. They have turned there backs on me and other fans of the once great A9 and now I'm done, I can't stand this **** anymore. If I ever see Shou in real life I have half a mind to punch him in the stomach for ruining this band....it flat out makes me sick! Alice Nine is dead. I dont know what you can call this pathetic bullshit boy band but they sure as hell are not Alice Nine! Good ******* bye!

I am truly sorry if I have offended any of you, but this has been eating at me and I had to get it out. It hurts me to say these things about A9 but they had to be said.

Yea, I get what you mean. Their songs sounded so pop-ish now... A few moments ago I was listening to all their really old songs and the difference is sooo huge. Well, I wouldn say who is at fault though because I think it takes a whole band to agree on the way they are moving towards... After watching Mirrorball and the Eraser pv, though the pvs are great, I didn like them a lot. Everything was good up till Tsubasa. Speaking frankly, I didn like the album Alpha... Only like 1 song out of the whole list of new songs in the album. I still think Zekkeishoku is the best. I won't hate them or what. But just that I feel quite disappointed... >.<

I believe all you guys here will understand Nan kun?

And about Takeru being in Aquarian Age I think I last saw it in the sug comm in Lj. But the movie seems rather interesting since they actually ask jrockers to participate in it. x)

It makes me sad to kno that Alice nine the once amazing jrock band can now be labeled JPOP and I can't even get into their new music i mean i only liked 3 or 4 songs in Alpha.....

This music that their making now is horrible and i can't stand it, the PV's may look amazing and their looks of course but what the hell happened to their music?! It becomes one of those songs on my playlist that just pass by without notice, alice nine had a sound so unique that i would notice it the very second it came on i was able to turn it up and sing along with shou... I wish i could go back to that

About Alice Nine tunring into more pop-ish version: I'm ok with it.
As long as the songs they do are great, i love the songs. I love the Band. And i will always suport Alice Nine and stand behind them, no matter how pop-ish they become. xD
It's their own will. When they want to be more pop-ish, then let them change and accept it.
As long as Alice Nine feel good this way, just let them.
It's their style.
Common, it's not so terrible that Alice Nine changed their style.
I have to agree, that i often felt a little bit disappointment too, because sometimes the new songs are....i don't know....soft...xD But i get used to it and it's ok. From the Alpha Album i don't like so many songs, yeah. I liked Tsubasa more.
That's only my opinion about it.

For the Eraser PV:
I love that PV. I like the idea of Shou having the Grey Haircolour. He looks a little bit like a doll. And he reminds me of L from Death Note. xD
I like the Idea of everyone wearing white clothes and everyone having one colour. (Nao yellow Bandana around his foot, shou purple shoes, Saga green bandana around his leg, Hiroto dark blue bandana in his pants and Tora light blue on his arm).
Also the idea with the flowers is awesome.
I'm honest: The PV is so beautiful that i even got tears in my eyes after i watched it. And there are not many bands that can bring tears into my eyes just because of a PV.
I only don't like Nao's necklace. IT LOOKS SO WEIRD!! xD
(Sometimes Nao doesn't really have a nice style xD, but i love him anyways <3)

And i like the Song too. It's a calm song and it fits to the cloud they show in the PV somehow. xD *haha*

The Mirrorball PV reminds me of Ayabie's Yubisaki PV. xD But the idea with the Water is awesome. =) And hte Song itself is good too. ^^

I do personally love the new pv's though the songs are rather pop-ish. I will continue supporting the band because some of their stuff still reflects their harder style from before. not as much as we would like but every band changes as they grow. I'm an avid H.I.M. fan. it is the same with them. they started out much harder than they are now but that is just how the band evolved with time.

Nan Desu Ka I'm not personally offended by your words cause you explained that you didn't mean to offend anyone, but I admit that they made me sad.
If you're SO MUCH FED UP with alice nine, then just don't listen to them anymore I propose. As revaanu said, many bands change their style while time passes by, that's nothing new, at least not to me. Personally I like their new style more and not just because of the brighter and more romantic music but because they're not having TONS of make up on them anymore like most "good old vk bands" and you can recognize more of their personality at least.
Call me a softy or whatever you want, but I also like bands as Gazette or D'espairs Ray, in the end it's all MUSIC, different types, but it's made to arouse feelings in people, sad or happy, and for me alice nine makes music that cheers me up and doesn't make me disturbed or something.
And if it is their personality to be this way or to make bubblegum pop music, as you call it, then just let them and don't blame shou for it. Do you say that shou pushed through his own will and that the others didn't even have the chance to say NO? Wouldn't the "real rockers" saga or tora have left alice nine if their ideas became that much different from each other?

Okay, I already spent more time on this than I wanted.
It just made me sad for alice nine that the thing they most long for, to reach their fans, whom they truly love, didn't work for you and others. But it's your opinion and I don't say you have to revide it or sth.
As you say it hurts you to say all this, it hurts me to hear it because I don't really get why you have to say it in such a MEAN way. RukaNightmare and Hitsugi_love managed to say what they think in a better way I reckon.
Just don't swear and be offensive to a9 because they are lovely people and didn't deserve it, after all. You're done with them then you can turn your back on them without "suck, disgusting, bullshit, and your loads of ********************s". Honestly.

Eraser Pv is love except I giggled upon Shou's silver/grey hair. It didn't fit with me. And the song sounds so beautiful!

Mirrorball pv is awesome, well sort of. It could've had more in it, but the effects were definitely cool. I just hope they fixed the guitars before anything happened to them. Electricity+Water=NOT GOOD.

Well at least you guys might be able to buy the single. I cannot. xD

personally, i'm alright with their style because i love alice nine. and i support them, and i also agree with HaidoLove. although some people may disagree with others, i think it's best if we can all stay cool about alice nine. and their various styles. But, i have to admit as well, i DO love Zekkeishoku, but that doesn't mean i Hate their new albums. i actually think theyre pretty good.

so..

guys, we all have our own opinions, but i would like for all of us to share it in a nice manner. Let's not start a war that would end up having killing this thread. We love this thread. :)

and..

Besides, isn't this an alice nine. thread.~? You have the option to leave if you you wish.
But i belive most of us are staying, right~?

Hey guys, I want to apologize for my rant earlier. The things that I said were written in a moment of anger/depression, I didn't let myself cool down before I began typing and thus my anger fogged my judgment and everything just kind of exploded, I apologize especially to haidolove for being so harsh about the whole thing. My feelings towards alice nine are the same, that I dont take back. I am very sad about the whole thing, I feel like I've lost one of my favorite bands, a band that meant a whole lot to me, and I was just depressed and angry and I took it out on you guys and I shouldn't have. I have indeed stopped listening to Alice Nine like Haido suggested, well new alice nine, last night I downloaded everything from the very beginning all the way up to number six that I didn't already have and deleted the rest. Part of me will always be an alice nine fan because I care about these guys, but I just can't stand what they've become. I hope you guys will forgive my crass and thoughtless words. Thanks.

I think Zekkeishoku was theyre best album untill now,
Alpha is good,but i don't say i think it's amazing or something,
I expected some more actually,

Wow, a lot has happened within the few days of my absence. I know how NDK feels since when I first joined the forum, he was already posting in this thread and even if I feel confused about the band right now, one thing would always keep me from not liking the band anymore: Time. All the time I spent on doing anything about them always made me happy and I am always hoping that I would be able to feel the old spirit again.

The songs are still good but I was just too accustomed to them before that listening to their music now makes me feel clueless.

@rukaNightmare actually .. .. .it's blue... Actually, reva did a few screen caps and it's blue.. it has some silverish tints but it's a greyish blue.. but it's blue.. :)

okay sha we get it lmao. actually yes I did do a screen cap and sampled colors from the whole thing. the hair shows up in the blue spectrum but so does the white (a lighter shade of the blue spectrum) which leads me to believe there is a blue filter on the lens of the camera or its the lighting. in either case it comes out varius shades of blue.

Well it was like reva said she said she thinks it's the lens on the camera.. personally after looking through the screen caps and the color codes that I pulled off both pics with Adobe.. the one in the video seems to have a blue lens over the camera. Making most objects have a bluish tint. The one posted in here seems to have more of a normal camera settings view.

just from taking the colors from the two different pictures I am assuming.. just assuming that there may have been a lens cover on the one where his hair looks blue. The normal looking lens setting seems to show a pinkish gray to his hair. When I stated it was blue it did look blue in the screen capture. I had yet to see any other pictures of the set. Not a big deal but I just wanted to confirm what I saw when I saw him in the video. :) That's all. :)

I'm currently in the process of painting tora from one of the pics from a photoshoot.. I'm planning on doing all of them depending on how this one turns out. I'll post in here as soon as I'm done I've been working on it for 3 days now.. *L* so.. we'll see when I'm done..

Once again it's been a while since I updated.

Eeh~ I made everyone worry
but right now everything's going fine.

In truth, when we resumed the tour
I was filled with the feelings of being blessed to be doing music for a living.
I hadn't been able to heal myself quickly on my own until now, so I'm truly grateful that

Woah at the analysis... But don't you think that his hair looked pinkish because of the light? If you look at the plastic chair to the left, you can see it a little pinkish (okay, maybe not so little) and also at the metal chair at the back of the plastic chair reflects a little pinkish.
And I don't think it's the flash because it would look different. I think he stood in front of a fluorescent lamp (like at the lamps behind him in the pic) because fluorescent light is quite pinkish, that's why there are lamps above meat (to make the meat look fresher).

His lips did look a bit silverish but I liked his hair.. *L* he's got a great mouth but Tora's is better.. *lol*

WOAH WOAH... research & analysis seems like a good career path for you Sha !! HAha. thks btw. Why only notice Shou's hair? Don't you like his lips too? Is it just me or does the lips look silverish too. Heh!

Shou痴 out of the hospital

Shou has just gotten out of the hospital today after being there for about ten days in total. As he said in his journal, he wasn稚 there for anything particularly trivial, but he痴 been suffering from chronic tonsillitis, and he reached the point where his tonsils were swelling up and his his throat was tiring quickly.

So, he did what many people do after getting even a few sore throats � he got his tonsils removed. Nao, coming to visit his 痴ick� friend, brought him a Belgian waffle, which Shou reported was delicious. Haha.

Now Shou is out of the hospital and doing fine. Hopefully by removing his tonsils he値l have better luck with the endurance of his throat and singing voice.

Alice Nine rocks, their one of my top bands. Besides, I think that they're way better than Kagrra. I don't get bored of any of their songs. "Yami ni Chiru Sakura" and "White Prayer" are my all-time favorites. The PV's for those songs are awsome, actually all of them are. Shou's cute and Tora's hot. Their all still young and will definitly grow.

I've been hospitalized since about 10 days ago, and I was released today☆

It's nothing particularly serious,
but since I had a predisposition for swollen tonsils because of chronic tonsilitis,

I worried that the stress might affect my throat and my singing,
I received advice from my sensei and sempai who are people I respect very much, I felt that, as a vocalist, it might be better to get them removed,

so I resolved to get my tonsils removed (laugh)

Right after the surgery, I was horrified to see the buckets stained with blood (laugh)

I regained the ability to eat little by little,
so more than anything, I'm looking forward to have control over my physical condition during the tour... and I try to think positively (laugh)

for the moment,

My impressions right after I was released were,
Let's just say that... I thought I was going to die☆

The picture is a belgian waffle that Nao-san brought me during the only (laugh) visit I got. It was delicious!

Nao was the only one who visited him? aaww, shame on the other a9 members.
My Nao-Babe is the best. ;D (No wonder i love him xD)

Tora probably didn't want to spend anymore time in a hospital. can't blame him for that. the others...well who knows. maybe they don't like hospitals. I hate to think that they would just avoid Shou like that though. I'm sure they had good reasons.

Hmm.. the -only- visit he got? That's kinda sad. Having your tonsils removed as an adult can be a dangerous thing. I don't see the others in the band abandoning him like that though. it's odd. and I agree with Reva I think Tora probably has had his fill with hospitals here lately.
