I know that a lot of artists aren't really happy with the way they look, anyway that's human nature after all, would be quite egoiste to think you look perfect imo :blush: and also they are in the public eye and photographed a lot so it would make them possibly more self-conscious.

I must confess I still haven't listened to the whole of Tafel Anatomie! :shock: because although the individual songs were good enough, as I was listening one after the other the sound got a bit repetitive to my ears. :bluush: I hope this new maxi redeems them a bit for me, since I really do think Asagi has an amazing voice. :singer:

It took me a while to listen to all of Tafel Anatomie too, but after listening through a few times I quite enjoy it. Not nearly as much as The name of the ROSE, but I still quite like it.

Asagi not attractive under his hair and makeup?! What? Blasphemy! He wears so little makeup compared to other visual men, and he doesn't do much with his hair...although you're right, I have a pic from waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when and D is out of costume and they are not rocking the normal look. Of course, it was before they really started looking good when they were visual too....before Tsunehito joined the band. In fact, I think it might be from the pre-Hide-zou era as well.

Hide-zou? Really? He never even registered on my guydar until the Taiyo wo okuru hi PV because of all the licking and his hair finally looked good.

I was disappointed with Tafel Anatomie because, while not exactly boring, it didn't stand out as anything special, and I was sure D were capable of doing something more original... and I am really happy I was not wrong... :happy:

Avex Trax is a major record label and it's well funded... you can say that. I think that it's somehow a good thing that they went to avex because I don't know how stable SMILE is a a label. The only reason why people have mixed emotions right now is not because of avex but because of the fact that D is now "major". But Asagi said that their music style won't change or anything so that is an assurance. ^_^

PV-wise it's a good thing since the camera quality is so much better and there are more cinemaric effects.

In March 2003, D was formed with the first five members, Asagi, Ruiza, Hiroki, Sin, and Rena. They released their first mini-album, New Blood, on 18 July 2003. Soon after the release of this album, Ruiza was hospitalized, and Sin decided to leave the band. The band took a small break. During this break, Asagi and Hiroki played under the name "Night of the Children" with the guitarist Hide-Zou, which Hiroki knew from S to M. When Ruiza was released from the hospital, D came back together on 27 September 2003 with a new line-up, Asagi, Ruiza, Hiroki, Hide-Zou and Rena. 2 months after their reunion, they released their first single, "Alice". On January 7 they released their second mini-album Paradox.
During 2004, D released two other singles: "Yume narishi kuuchuu teien," and "Mayutsuki no hitsugi," which was only for sale at three concerts in Shibuya O-West (11.04), Nagoya ell. FITS ALL (11.13) and Osaka MUSE (11.23). They also decided to release a remastered version of their first mini-album, but this time with the bonus track "Gareki no hana". New Blood ~second impact~ was released on Dec 08, 2004, quickly followed by their fourth single Mahiru no koe ~Synchronicity~.
In 2005, Rena was in the band long enough to release one more single and PV, "Yami yori kurai doukoku no a CAPPELLA to bara yori akai jounetsu no ARIA". After the recording of their latest album, Rena decided to leave the band July 27. On September 28 D's first full album The name of the ROSE was released in 2 versions each with a DVD of a different PV. D also launched their own publication, the Mad Tea Party Magazine.
Tsunehito joined D on 5 December 2005 and re-recorded the bass lines for The name of the ROSE 2006, which included three new tracks.
Keeping with the trend of remastering their old albums, in 2006 they re-released Paradox and "Yume narishi kuchuu teien". The latter came with two additional tracks that were previously unreleased. Their 7th single "Taiyou wo okuru hi" was released in two forms: with and without the PV. Two months later they released their second album, Tafel Anatomie on October 18, 2006 in which its first press special edition was sold out within days.
For 2007, D launched their official fanclub "Ulitimate Lover" and released their first live DVD, Tafel Anatomie TOUR 2006 (2007.3.14). Soon after, the band announced in-store events and a three-date tour (Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo) on their website to support their new single, "Dearest You" (2007.04.25). In the summer, D released 2 more singles, "Ouka sakisomenikeri" (2007.07.18)[1] and "Schwarzschild" (2007.08.15). In November D released their 3 full length album Neo culture〜Beyond the world〜(2007.11.07) in 3 forms: 2 special editions each containing a DVD with different PVs and a regular edition with a special 36 page booklet.
In 2008, D signed with Smile records and has gone major. Their major label debut is set for May 7, 2008 and will be called "Birth". The single is released in 3 forms, the first being an A-side, a B-side, and a PV. The second will include a bonus track, and the third will include another bonus track.

ok I search a little and I found out that Ruiza who was hospitalized and Tsunehito joined D on 5 December 2005 that is why you can't see him in the pv sleeper I found the info on wikipedia have a look
In March 2003, D was formed with the first five members, Asagi, Ruiza, Hiroki, Sin, and Rena. They released their first mini-album, New Blood, on 18 July 2003. Soon after the release of this album, Ruiza was hospitalized, and Sin decided to leave the band. The band took a small break. During this break, Asagi and Hiroki played under the name "Night of the Children" with the guitarist Hide-Zou, which Hiroki knew from S to M. When Ruiza was released from the hospital, D came back together on 27 September 2003 with a new line-up, Asagi, Ruiza, Hiroki, Hide-Zou and Rena. 2 months after their reunion, they released their first single, "Alice". On January 7 they released their second mini-album Paradox.

@ -Kiwamu- woow did you draw this pic you are so talented girl and I wanted to tell you that the person who was sick is Ruiza not Tsunhito when Ruiza was sick he left the band for a while at that time Asagi and Hiroki and Hidezou made a small band called something Child I forgot the name then when Ruiza got back all the origenal members reunited exept for one of the giutarist then they put in his place Hidezou then the Bassist left them and Tsunhito joined them later so he was not sick I think that is my bad coz I was confused myself sorry for that :sorry:

I really want to hear their new single.. jazzy sounds interesting!! I like the idea of D having more of a departure from their style! You know, I always loved their style because it was very 'old school rock' style with the guitars and all that... yet still had something different, and in the latest times I was listening (the last thing I have of theirs was the single after Tafel Anatomie album, but I forget the name >.< I'm not good with long Japanese titles! >.<) anyway in Tafel Anatomie it seemed they (dare I say it) becoming slightly stuck in a musical rut with the rock/metal guitar-based style, and although I love that style I wanted them to be a bit more innovative but without losing the wonderful Asagi distinctive vocals and all the other things that make them special... then in the single I thought "they are moving in a good direction!" but since then I've been so busy and haven't checked them out or got anything new from them :( so I am damn curious about this latest single! :cool: *wibble-wibble* *blush* :blush:

Anyway, yesterday I was seized with a sudden horny and hungry desire to bite on Asagi's upper arms... :blush: :D :D

Now about their New Single and Album...here is the info i Found :-)

(Third single "Snow White" Type A, Type B and type C will be released on January 21, 2009. Each type has different B-side and DVD contents. All of the CDs includes a trading card randomly seleceted from seven types. New Album also comes out on February 25, 2009. Type A and Type B have different DVD contents. Also includes a trading card randomly selected from five types.)
