Basically this *magazine* Titled "kaiki mokushiroku" "Revelations of recurrence" or something like that lol For fans wanting to recieve an email notice for the latest information of RENTRER EN SOI. All for FREE! Yay! aha uhh well its helpful so you dont have to keep checking their website hundreds of times to see if they have updated it or not... ahaha :relief:

My parents don't trust any kind of site that doesn't accept credit card because with a credit card you'll know they got your payment, but with a money order they could get it but say they never got it and never send the item out.

I sent my money order by Global Priority Mail and so far, the tracking on it has told me that it's left the US. I'm pretty sure it'll tell me when it's been delivered too and it only cost $9.50 to ship.

Anyway. I read on Scape (on the RES thread), that apparently Shun posted an entry in his diary that says:

Which is allegedly translated as something like:
"The band [you were following] is dissolving. Thank you very much, and thank you for your efforts," or alternatively "We've decided to let the band break up, thank you for everything so far we really appreciate it."

These lines were translated for Scape thread (http://www.scapeforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=2809&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=225) kindly by -Lemharth- and Kazuo. We are still waiting for an "official" announcement or indeed anything else apart from this random diary entry. Apparently none of the other members mentioned this in their diaries.

I HAVE NOT SEEN THIS ENTRY WITH MY OWN EYES BUT ONLY WHAT WAS COPIED ONTO SCAPE.

This could be a total storm in a teacup, but... I just had to share it with you guys, as I felt it was only fair to keep you posted. I can only hope, very hard, that it turns out to be a mistake, a mistranslation, or just a rumour started from nothing on LJ. :souka: If it really does mean the end of RES I will be absolutely, totally, utterly and completely gutted.

EDIT: I have mentioned this nowhere else, and I'd be really grateful if you guys wouldn't either... I don't want to have the blame of spreading around a false rumour on the internet. :o (See how much I love and trust y'all! XD)

ya, to me, it seems impossible to disbanding like this all of a sudden. according to the member's blog, seems like they have been living together trying to generate some creative juices. and plus, if they're really disbanding, it should be on the OHP as well.

That thought had occurred to me - that he could have meant another band that they had been following, because after all, there have been a lot of disbandments recently. I forget... :mad: (the one with the long-ass title XD @_@) Personally I thought it lacked both the tightness and delicacy of their previous work, and I was a little disappointed in it. It wasn't bad exactly - and I don't expect anything that can compare with Protoplasm and Karasu-iro no Taiji! XD - but not as good as I Hate Myself and want to... :(

Ah, I heard their latest album but I haven't posted about it here yet. I was actually disappointed in it... there are good bits and I think they are good compositions, but the production... o_o... I'm not sure if it's just that my speakers are crap, but what do others think? I found the sound to be 'muddy' and indistinct, with guitars and vocals sometimes hiding their finer points behind a lot of noise. :(

Not that it's too 'heavy' per se but more like the production is bad and blurred.

ok so I just listened to The Bottom of Chaos...and I'M SERIOUSLY IN LOVE WITH IT!!!! I really think that ALL of the songs are really AWESOME!!! The song 'I HATE MYSELF AND WANT TO DIE' is a bit different than the single version but it's still very good! I really like the song 神話 (sorry I can't read Kanji...only Katakana and Hiragana...and I can't find translations...I THINK it might translate to Shinwa or something....I dunno). I love the piano! It's a sad song and I love sad songs. I would seriously cry if I saw this song live! I also really like the screams in 密室と孤独に毒された憂鬱....very nice! Overall, I'd give the album a 7-8 1/2 out of 10 (10 being the best).

Heh, well, those may have just been titles that Kyo and Daisuke made up for themselves. Remember when Kyo used to call himself "Prophet" in the liner notes of Dir en grey's albums?

An agitator usually refers to someone who supports something thru speeches and whatnot. I'm pretty sure that Kyo and Satsuki are friends (getting the same tattoos, for example), so maybe Kyo was giving the guys inspiration or something like that.

"Vocal therapist" could just mean that Daisuke was helping with Satsuki's vocals. They could have meant "trainer" or "coach" but ended up choosing the wrong word because they aren't familiar with the English language.

I can't stop listening to 'Stigmata'! RES can do no wrong. It's pretty much perfect. Everyone performs so, so well and Satsuki's voice is to die for. Can't wait to get a translation, let me know if you find one please. Don't know if this is just the newness speaking but I'd say best song of 2008 so far :cool:
Not much to say about the other two tracks, but they're both very good. But really, how many Shinwa's do we need? I still like it better than the BoC version though.
'Ushinawareta' is really pretty but not radically different from the original.

it says "japan version" because sometimes there are knock-off korean versions... it just means it's the real cd, not a bootleg, and that it was released in japan. sometimes some bands do english versions or korean versions, which means they are released in those countries, but usually this only happens if the band is really big... like i've seen Gackt and Dir en grey and Hyde do it, and those are the only ones i can think of off the top of my head XD

hmm not sure... maybe sphere-croid has something special, but it might also be because it's older and rarer.

check ebay for posters! also the visual kei magazines like Cure and Fool's Mate and Shoxx often come with posters of different bands... i'm sure there are at least a few issues featuring Rentrer en Soi, but those also may be hard to find ^_^

hmmm i wouldnt trust those different record companies... it could be real, but i wouldnt risk it. i know you dont want to buy from japan, but just in case, here's a good place to buy it. ive used this site many times and everything has been perfect. it's really reliable and its always the real deal.

this is from the official american press... you can buy it straight from the free-will site by clicking this link, then "rentrer en soi" on the left, then scroll down and sphere-croid will be there. its also inexpensive ^_^

as far as streaming, ive seen them do that with Dir en grey before... im not sure the details on this one though @_@ ill do more research

So 'Indie records" mean this Indie? So is official product from them!?

I love Rentrer en Soi <3 Satsuki's voice is god, it's really encouraging to see him polish up his voice, improve on his breathing techniques and whatnot through these years.

(And I love Takumi. Hohoho.)

From a fan's POV, IMO, I'm rather happy that their music is back to some form of lyrical-rock. Sure it's ages ago, I need to catch up on ReS, but...I HATE MYSELF AND I WANT TO...was a major turn-off for me. That was a period in which I didn't understand at all.

But then that's over, so...

(Why do I feel like a bad fan for not catching up on ReS...)

I heard about a vhs called "Un official Cut" this was a present (given out during live) for buying Protoplasm + karasu + RENTRER EN SOI album.... Im searching disperately this vhs... is impossible to find in stores anymore.. so.. there's someone who could send to me a copy? Pleaseeee... I wanna see this so badly.... :°°(

I have the Sphire Croid albulm. bought it in years ago. (laughs) I can upload the entire albulm for you if you want.


Finally they made a remix to a previous song that I don't like. I was waiting to see how long it was going to take for me to actually dislike one of their remixes. I love "To Infinity" on The Bottom of Chaos albulm but the remix on "Unending Santcuary" made me die. WHY did they remix that song??!! It was perfect the way it was! but I love "Unending Sanctuary" and "Secret Scars remix" but .......... and I hate "Shinwa" I don't care how many times they remix that damn song. I'm still going to hate it.

did anyone see the pv to "Unending Sanctuary"? Satsuki took off his glove from the "Stigmata" pv.......um.......nice ring, looks black........is he married now? *scratches head* speaking of, a friend of mine was trying to find his height and couldn't find any information on him. That was funny. I kept telling her that he was anonymous. it's like this with him:

Is a videotape very rare... but is not easy to find it anymore... I m searching someone who could put this on a DVD and I can pay good for having this...

I think we are all fans of Rentrer En Soi and we should help each other to have these things... I know is rare, but there's no need to not share this in private for our personal use only... we all want enjoy this...

Try to image that I had this videotape but time consumed the tape... what I could do? My only hope is ask to fans to help me to have this again...

checked that website 2 days ago again, i knew there was bad news once i saw that new notice banner. but i never would have thought they would disband like this. I started listening to RES since the Sincerely days...loved Sphere Croid, surprised with their style change but did like what they did in RES and BOC, surprised with their style change in STIGMATA again but i think after trying to be Dir en grey for awhile they have improved and found their real style again....and while i wait for MAGGIDO (typo), i have to also understand that they'll be disbanding soon......argh.....
