Ok, so there is this sentence on my worksheet:

Kodomo no toki, ii kodomo deshita ka.

Kodomo no toki?! By the way, "toki" is written using the kanji for time.
Time of child?
Kodomo means child, correct? I just keep rereading it, thinking I have made a mistake when reading hiragana, but my brain is just not processing this sentence.

Can someone help me out with my poor Japanese? What is this question asking?

*rocks back and forth*

kodomo no toki means childhood, so literally the question is: in your childhood, where you (a) good (child)?

You dig?
