I finally released the 1st version of my website about architecture and urbanism of Tokyo and Japan - unfortunately only in German, but I will work on it to reach more people; the content will be enlarged monthly - my personal archive contains 200 books (about the topic) and more than 5000 pictures, so it takes a long time to scan them (at least the most important ones)
the design is intentionally pure and unobtrusive- no frames, no flashs ..., some pictures maybe take some time to load - broadband would be fine
best use with 1200pix in width / mozilla-firefox

please visit my site and write comments, critics (positive and negative)

everybody who wants to help with essays, pictures and so on is welcome

how can I place a link at jref?

Wonderful website, Iwao!

I've always wanted to know which architect built what. I know a lot of Tange Kenzo and Frank Lloyd Wright designs but didn't know which one was Kurokawa Kisho and who designed the so many new buildings and other structures going up today. Didn't know Park Hyatt was designed by Tange, too. (I love the hotel... )

I'd love to read your comments in English. (German is not my forte... :relief: )
