Days of the month/number of days

Just started learning the days of the month and I'm a bit confused. So let me get this right, itsuka can mean either the 5th day of the month or five days (as a period of time)? And also, for example, nijuukunichi means the 29th day of the month, or 29 days?? So in other words, gojuunichi would mean 50 days (as in a period of 50 days)??
