Melt Banana rocks! Their latest album actually contains songs longer then 2 minutes.
it seems to me like you got a cool taste in music dawg!
i just ordered the first 2 albums from Hang On The Box (chinese group). they are the chinese versions as well, which i think is cool. i have no idea if they are any good but i've heard good things bout there recent album.
can you recommend any other groups i should look out for?!?!?
Ps. the MCM's first album turned up today  :D

Hang on the Box is good. Anything on the Benten (http://www.sister.co.jp) label is good actually.
As for my taste in music. It's way broader then what you've seen here. That also makes it hard to recommend anything.
hey man, i understand...my music collection is so varied! i tried to seperate it into genre and i had to give up! but at the moment i'm loving music from the east (of the world, and of american). off topic slightly...theres an online radio station that plays music by bands from Boston MA. i looked up the various bands websites and downloaded tracks from the sites (freebies, not thieving). i have a whole playlist of 'boston artists' that would take up 3 CDs. it's just nice to listen to new music that isn't in the charts...that still has a bit of credibility and dignity.
thanks for the link, checking it out now!

Melt Banana=wild! (that's a good thing).
They actually went to Norway once and stayed with my boyfriends father(but that was before I knew him though).
I downloaded some of their stuff from ARESTRA.
Listening to them puts me in a really good mood. Makes me think that you can still make 'different' music AND make it good.
I'm not sure who'd be interested but looking on play and amazon, "13 hedgehogs" (Like a melt banana greatest hits) is due for release in May over here in the UK...will be pre-ordering my copy when i get home.
the best bit is, it's a measly £10 (or there abouts!)
Peace

Eh, I don't like them. @.@; TO me it sounds like she's trying to sing with a banana shoved down her throat. :p
did their music style changed drastically from that time? or it's almost the same?

thats not true
i read something about their band name, will search it
did their music style changed drastically from that time? or it's almost the same?: not that much their older stuff is more Lo-Fi and their two? latest cd's are more Hi-fi and more melodical but its still awsome and hyperactive :)
