hello again!

I am unsure of 『マジで』. I know it's slang, like "No kidding?!" and such, but how does it translate in the following sentences?

人がマジで。。。 [incomplete sentence]

マジで言われれば言われる程。。。

hmm I heard it a lot when I was in Japan and they used it like : "oh really?,Could it be?"
I think in the "Hito ga majide" ... it's used like : "Is the person really....?" or "Could it be that the person....?" just my 2 cent :)

マジ comes from 真面目(まじめ) and it means 本気(ほんき)なこと-seriousness, うそや冗談(じょうだん)でないこと-not a joke, etc.

A: マジで? Do you really mean it?
B: うん、マジで! Yes, I do mean it.

マジで言われれば言われる程。。。This sentence can be translated like "The more seriously they say, the .....
