View Full Version : should China forgive Japan? OFFTOPIC about whaling
If anyone else thinks that hunting humbacked whales for 'scientific' purposes is a an uncivilised practise - then join with me in registering a protest at your nearest Japanese embassy - also refuse to buy Japanese goods until a change of heart is forthcoming.

I'll join you Rosib. Japan is like a beast gone mad with totally no regard for other countries, our planet or whale species survival. It has to be stopped!

Oh boy.
Seeing that you reside in Australia, I'm tempted to point out the multitude of enviromental issue within your own country, or the problems it causes other countries.
Please be critical in a more constructive fashion.

Whaling in China
Baiji / Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"During the Great Leap Forward, when traditional veneration of the Baiji
was denounced, it was hunted for its flesh and skin, and quickly became scarce."

I'll risk the wrath of Rock Lee and mad pierrot by saying that I think rosib and earthangel are right on target with this thread. It seems completely appropriate - it has to do with whaling and Japan. And I happen to agree with them. :bravo:
